Freeter, Ie wo Kau wins the Grand Prize for Tokyo Drama Awards 2011

"Tokyo Drama Awards 2011" that is held annually as a part of "International Drama Festival in TOKYO 2011" have selected its winners. For this awards, dramas are rigorously selected from the quality of the work, a drama which mirrors Japanese society appropriately, and a drama that will be accepted and do well/to sell abroad.

Freeter, Ie wo Kau (Fuji TV) that was aired in October to December 2010 has been selected as the Grand Prix winner for drama series category and 99-nen no Ai~JAPANESE AMERICANS~ (TBS aired from 3rd to 7th November 2010 for 5 consecutive days) for drama movie category.

In addition, to recognize the works sold in foreign market, a Special Award; "Asia Award" is given to JIN (TBS in April-June 2011).

Award ceremony will be held on 24th October at Roppongi Hills

This Is All What Life Is About

23rd September 2011, after class and stuff, I went over to TARC with Ah Fook and Ah Hui to get our completion letter. We talked and stuff and our graduate list was out. I'm in the list! I'm so proud of myself. Surprisingly, our class has got like 10 students who couldn't graduate. Exclude those who are still holding some failed subjects. One of my ex-groupmates, she failed 2 subjects in the last semester. I don't know whether to laugh at her or to pity her. Cause in the last sem, she kept blaming us for not fetching her out and ended up going out with another friend herself and act like as if she's really happy without us. So, end up, she failed. She should be ashamed of herself.

Anyway, at night, I went to fetch Yvonne from her house to KY's house for an overnight. I was stuck in a traffic jam near her house for an hour. I was about to go crazy. Then Yvonne and I both went to the night market for a walk to buy my handbag but found none suitable ones. Then went to fetch Cindy and went to KY's house to eat our supper/ dinner.

Then we were on facebook, criticizing and gossiping about people. Lolz... Girls... Especially CLS girls.... Then Cindy and KY went to sleep already. Leaving Yvonne and me. We gossip, talk about problems, complains and stuff. It was fun with Yvonne, always.

Then we went to bed and damn, our air-cond control couldn't be used so we sneaked into KY's room to get the control. Lolz... We slept. I was actually quite sleepy already. I don't know why but I slept really well that night.

Early morning, 7am, they woke me up. KY wasn't even up yet. I was so sleepy. Then we went to eat dim sum. Then started our journey to Pantai Keracut there for fish spa near Monkey Beach. Sadly, after such a long journey, the place was forbidden. Can't go in. We actually decided to sneak in but Cindy was scared and there's a green leaf/ branch moving while the others wasn't. We got scared if it was haunted so we didn't sneak in.

So, we decided to go back to a place where we could go to the big rocks and get fish spa there cause we saw many lil fishes there too. After getting near the rocks, we saw those parasites (on the rocks) moving. So we were scared if they would bite. So we didn't go in the end.

So, we went back where there's a path to walk in and out, stopped by the bench and beach and swing and stuff to rest. We played around, took pics and stuff.

Then we decided to go to Gurney Plaza cause Popular was having discount up to 70%! Ended up, I bought a DVD. Nino's Ooku. Once I saw it, I just decided to buy cause it was damn cheap! RM9.90 only! Then we walked around to look for my handbag and found none again. Also had lunch there.

We went home and had a bath and went back to KY's house and rest a while before going to Prangin Mall.

Went window shopping. Before that, we went to the wholesale shop to buy some junk food, dried fish fillet.

I saw a cheap and pretty bag but it was too big for me. Then KY bought a camera keychain which has a sound and light.

Dinner, we went to eat at a coffee shop near by. Ice-kacang was really nice and so as the hokkien mee.

After dinner, we went home. So tired.

Sunday was bored. Stayed at home the whole day.

Monday had class. The class was bored as well. There's a small test and the test is way too easy. Fook, Ah Hui and me finished inn like 5minutes or so. It was too easy for us.Then I continued my drawing and design.

After class, I went to find Eugene, we had chicken rice as lunch. Full. Then we went to Gurney and I bought another J-drama DVD, Jun's The Last Princess. I was so excited to find this DVD in such a cheap price cause I can't find this movie in cheap price anymore. The price I got was RM16 and the usual HKV doesn't have it anymore.

Then went home and rest for a while before going top KFC for dinner.

Then we went to Gurney Drive, Crepe Cottage for dessert. OMG! I was so damn excited cause finally I get to try it!

But then Eugene couldn't finish his banana split ice cream and his pina colada. Lolz... Being a greedy guy~ Then we went home.

Tuesday was bored in class as well but making new friends process is really going on already. I started talking and smiling to my classmates already. Well, basically, talking to a boy which I didn't really like much at first cause he had a bit of Jia Jun style but still better than Jia Jun cause he has got more experience than her.

After class, I went for lunch with Eugene then went home. It was bored at home, staying all day in my room. In addition of having cold war with my mum. Anyway, I did start to look for job vacancies and sent my resume to about 5 companies and even called to Click 'n' Snap since they wanted a clerk. Hopefully, I get at least one company's job vacancy and Click 'n' Snap asked me to go for an interview for the next day.

Wednesday, yet again, I sat with the guy who was a bit like Jia Jun. He asked us to call him James. He's quite a nice guy afterall tho he kept on boasting he has a girlfriend. Anyway, classmates interaction started. We started talking to each other as well. Morning, Gurney Plaza's HR people called me and asked me to go for an interview but I wasn't qualified as a full time so she asked me to be a part-time and I can start anytime. Well, sounds interesting but I need to consider cause my first choice is Click 'n' Snap. Anyway, we then went to lunch with Ah Fook and James.

Then I went for the Click 'n' Snap interview but the boos wasn't around so we went back to college for English 3 class. Oh, I went to Prangin Mall with James and another classmate name Evelyn. Class was boring, I sat with a girl who I didn't really know, she's quite quiet tho.

After class, I went for the interview. The sales guy is really nice. I prefer working there cause the people there are nice compare to all the other camera shops I know. I waited for a while then I went into the office to meet the big boss. It's an auntie. She's quite nice. More to an interview, it was like a talking session. I told her why did I wanna find a job (cause I've got too much free time) and I just want experiences. She kinda agreed. I felt that of course she would wanna hiring part time cause I can do anything and they can even cut cost! It's not like they don't have an accountant. They have but they just need another helper.

After the interview, I went home. Rest a while before going out with Zhi Khang and Lilian. We went for dinner, well, I ate at home already so I didn't eat. Then I told Zhi Khang about the discount in Gurney Plaza's Popular so we went and Lilian and I ended up buying J-drama each. I bought Nino's Freeter. *Sigh* I waste money again. Then we walked around a bit before going off.

Then we went to Greenlane McD for a small supper and talk. I met Yaa May and Wooi Theng surprisingly. I saw Yaa May first. We were both shocked! Lolz... Then we went to buy some food and both Lilian and Zhi Khang were out of money, so I had to pay and he had to owe me again. Lolz...

Then we talked and stuff. We even gossip and joke around. It was nice talking to him and Lilian. I felt bad cause when he hangs out with Lilian, he always call me out but when it's mine and Eugene's turn, Eugene never want him to follow. Sorry...

Then we went home. I told my dad about the job and stuff he kinda agreed. So, I'm all okay with it already. So, excited, at the same time, a bit nervous.

Of course I would wanna find a job. My life is just like the pic. below.

Except that my assignment, lecture and tutorial time are shorter and internet time is longer.

Pain Is Gain

21st September 2011, the day after the accident, my mum went to get a copy of the police report. It was attached with a letter from the police stating that the opposite part (the motorbiker who crashed on my car) was being summon RM300 for his reckless driving.

Hah! Padan muka! If he or his dad were to settle this underground and talked nicely, and would pay me RM100, wouldn't it be better? Haha...Victory for me! Laughing out loud!

One more thing which pissed me off, or rather a person. He was like saying stuff as if it's my fault I got into an accident yet, again. It's not your problem so why care? It's not like you're gonna care if I'm alright or not so why whine? You're just teasing. I know.

So, if you're not caring, shut your mouth up! You don't know how it feels when unfortunate things happen to me and it isn't my fault at all and yet, I'm being very careful already!

At night, went supper with Eugene and we bought ice cream too! xD

Today, evening, I went to Batu Feringghi to get my bag which I wanted. Guess how much was it? ... ... ... RM65. Damn! It's totally out from my estimation. I just went off without buying. Tho it was really pretty and I really like it but it was too expensive for god's sake! Anyway, then we went walking the whole pasar malam for a look around.

Half way, we got to Sunset Bistro (the new one) and saw sunset! We went in towards the beach and the sunset was so pretty. We started taking pics of the sunset and of each other too.

Then, I went to Ai Yin's brother's house with her boyfriend and a friend of her and her mum and brother and nephew. She said there's a sifu who is willing to do leg massage for free. So I just went to try. OMG! Damn it hurt like hell! He used a small wooden roller (not exactly a roller but just a longed wooden thing) and rolled it down from our below-knee to our above-ankle. Damn! It hurt! then it started to massage using 3 wooden thingy. He said, the place which hurts is where the particular part of your body is damage. Mine was my back-bone and neck. And he said my body is full of 'air' cause my feet are very cold like ice.

He said he used 3/5 of his energy to massage me. Ai Yin's boyfriend was 5/5 and Ai Yin and her friend was 2/5 only. My ankle hurt like hell when he massaged it. I shouted and jumped up from the chair numerous times. I was sweating half way the massage was on. the sifu was also sweating a lot. Half way doing it, my leg was shaking already. It really hurts like hell. Both my legs became weak. OMG. My hands are also shaking.

He advice us not to bath after 8pm. He said it's not good for our body. He did asked us to buy some medicine to eat which cost RM50 a bottle but I couldn't afford that much and so I said I didn't like to eat medicine so he said it's okay. I felt a bit sorry and guilty cause afterall, he's doing for us for free.

Now, my leg had this mint medicine smell and I cannot wash it. And it's still hurting a bit and still feeling numb and weak. But it's kind good I felt.

Good Things Always Comes With A bad One

As I said before,  good things always comes with bad ones. I always believe in this theory but this time, I was too careless.

15th September 2011, was the day I got my last TARC diploma final exam result. The day before, I didn't really sleep well. I chat with Tauke and Mimi a bit and look back my previous posts in facebook. I slept quite late. I woke up at 11.20am. I thought of sleeping back but then it was my result day. So I woke up and went to check. I waited til 11.45am for my result to come out cause the website was lagging. I was so nervous that i was about to die. A lot of people had the same feeling cause they were all waiting for the result too.Finally, my result.

Very satisfying. I was so damn happy. Afternoon, I went washing my car. Finally, I decided to wash it. It was really a hot weather. And I took off my 'P' sticker too.

Evening, I went to Gama with Eugene to buy Kar Ming's Birthday present. Bought chocolates and a Pen carved her name. We also bought a few stuff like sweets and chocolates. Then we went to have his dinner and went to Prangin Mall for a Movie, Johnny English Reborn. It was funny. Before the movie, we went to have a cake to celebrate my good result and for Arashi's 12th Birthday.

After the movie, we decided to get some dessert but the place we wanted to go is closed. So we went to Mr. Pot. I ordered Maggi Noodles with Peach Tea Juice. Both were very nice.

The next day, we went to Kar Ming's 21st Birthday Party at OXO. It was fun. The food was quite nice. We drank and talk and took photos. And she got a really cute camera. I took a photo with that camera.

17th September 2011, I stayed at home. At night, I went out with Eugene to Tesco to buy the stuff I needed for next day's hiking and picnic. We bought quite a lot. Then we decided to get his dinner in Swensen and I felt like eating dessert. He treated me Rocky Choco.... (I forgot the name) It was damn nice! I was so happy eating it! <3

18th September 2011 I woke up early. Well, not as early as KY. Lolz... we got ready and went hiking at Pantai Keracut (Me, KY, Yvonne and Cindy). I was a bit sleepy but also excited cause it's the first time I hike to Pantai Keracut. We went buying hot cup for breakfast. Then we started hiking at 9am.

For like only 10minutes, I got tired already. Ugh.... I so felt like resting. It was really tired but fun with them. We talked and joke and after one and a half hour, we finally reach. We were so excited when we finally reach. KY and I were sweating a lot! But it was fun.

When we got to the beach, we went near the sea at the shore and started playing in the water and our pants got wet. Then we sat at the beach and started eating our junk food, play with sand, talk and enjoy there. KY and I were laying on the sand.

Then around 1pm, we went back by boat and it was about to rain already. It was also exciting on the boat. It felt like roller coaster or something like that. Halfway, it started raining heavily. It was really cold, felt like ice hitting our skin. Still, it was fun. By the time we got into the car, we were all completely wet. If we've known we would be so wet in the end, we would have play in the sea.

Then we went home. I got some rest before going to get my flash, bought from JJ. Before that, I brought Eugene to Prangin Mall for dinner and for his hair cut. His hair was damn short! XD

Then after getting my flash (I was always so glad and happy to see him), we went to Batu Feringghi pasar malam cause he wanted to buy decorative lights to decorate his room. End up, he didn't find any pretty ones while I found one pretty handbag. I felt like buying it.

Then it started raining so we went home. Went to his house, chat with his dad just a lil bit and ate some snack before going home.

Monday was boring. I stayed at home the whole day after going to college. College was boring neither. The lecturer taught us wrong thing. It was different from what we learned in TARC.

Oh, and this day was the day Eugene finally, got to go into the kitchen for work. Evening, I went to clear up all my TARC books. One whole box.

Today, we went to class and sat there waiting for one hour and finally, class cancel. So, Ah Fook, me and Ah Hui decided to go watch 'Nasi Lemak 2.0' in Prangin Mall. We had breakfast together and went to watch. It was a funny movie. After watching we went home.

On the way home, fromm Siam Road going into the small lane to my home's road, damn, a stupid bike knock onto the back of my car's light! I called my uncle there cause I couldn't reach my mum. Once that stupid Indian guy's dad came, he started to argue and wanted me to pay him. My uncle argue back that it's his fau;t cause my car in alrady 100% in the small lane already! But he insist that I didn't put signal. I did from far cause I saw lots of motor coming so I quickly put on signal to the right and all the other motor saw and move to the left and when I turn, his bike wasn't even in my sight. Means he was driving fast and he didn't see my signal. Wasn't my fault at all. And he wasn't even hurt and his bike wasn't even spoil at all. End up, report.

Report the whole day, waste my time to sleep. then I brought my car to fix the light and check a bit here and there and my car seems to have quite a few problems.

So, I was careless in dealing with my life balance. I didn't see this accident (bad things) coming. I was too indulge in fun and excitement these days. The thing I wasn't satisfy was it was his fault and he wouldn't and don't have to pay me. Damn it. So, I have to waste money for things I'm not in fault.

Good things always comes with bad ones.
