Looking young

Just wanna post something I'm quite obsessed these few days.

I'm trying to look young cause I'm conscious that I'm growing old. So,I went to cut my fringe and had my hair straight.

No, i didn't had my hair straighten. It's naturally straight, my hair was born straight. And I had my hair colored in green again! I'm really loving my hair.
And I look cute!

P.S. Happy Birthday Sakurai Sho! I still love you!!! <3

Arashi's Voice Analysis

Arashi's Voice Analysis - The Television Zoom
A Verification Project

We tried carrying out a voice analysis of Arashi’s vocals

What is the charm behind Arashi’s vocals?
We asked Suzuki Soushi from the Japan Acoustic Lab to help us analyze the members’ solos; and inspected the respective voices in a scientific manner.

Untitled 4

Ohno Satoshi
A talented singer whose voice is stable even within a female vocal range
voice ohno
“Ohno-san’s vocals are rather orthodox. He has no idiosyncrasies, and is skilled when it comes to transiting from one pitch to another and his vibrato.”

Characteristics of his voice:
- He transits from one pitch to another precisely
- The waveform of his vibrato is precise and beautiful
- He has the technical skill to sing stably at a vocal range that is close to a female’s

Precise, and very stable even in his upper vocal range
As we examine the waveform, the vibrato portion forms a sine wave, as it ought to, and the wave form is even. When he goes from one pitch to another, it sounds very clean, and the transition from his falsetto to his chest voice is smooth as well. We could say that he is a very skilled singer. Moreover, he is extremely stable in his upper vocal range, a range that is twice as high as a normal male’s speaking voice. Because he has the ability to utilize the vibrato in his upper vocal range, his voice can be described as “free”.

Sakurai Sho
A manly voice which has a precise sense of rhythm
voice sho
“The green portion at the lower end of the diagram represents the lower part of his vocal range. Normally, a person would control his voice by altering the volume of his mouth cavity, but Sakurai uses his pharynx as well.”

Characteristics of his voice:
- An accurate sense of rhythm
- A deep voice which impresses the listener with a manly image
- Beautiful enunciation of consonants, which makes it easy to follow his English

A trait that is suited for dance music
When we analyzed his rap, his words weren’t misplaced by a single bit, and aligned with the rhythmic lines perfectly. With strongly rhythmic music like this, a person’s voice can be easily buried if he didn’t enunciate his consonants clearly. However, Sakurai-san enunciates his consonants well, so that makes it easy to follow. As his neck muscles which control the vocal tract are well developed, he’s able to clearly project lower notes in the range of 100 ~ 1000 Hz. This would impress upon the listener that Sakurai-san has a manly charm.

Aiba Masaki
A mischievous voice which appeals to the maternal instinct of each female listener
voice aiba
“His slightly laid-back style of singing, coupled with his character, gives listeners a mischievous image.”

Characteristics of his voice:
- An invigorating and refreshing voice
- A singing voice which appeals to one’s maternal instincts
- Mastery of abdominal voice projection

A refreshing and unique singing style that is cute
He’s able to carry out basic abdominal projection of his voice to a high degree. According to the structure of Aiba-san’s mouth, he’s able to project sounds around the frequency bandwith of 8500 ~ 10000Hz clearly. When a person projects his voice clearly in this region, we can conclude that it sounds invigorating and refreshing to the listeners. In addition, the unique way in which he sings the ends of his sentences like he’s going to cry imparts a cute image upon his listeners. Perhaps it might appeal to their maternal instincts?

Ninomiya Kazunari
A kaleidoscopic voice, he sings as if he’s acting
voice nino
“As we go from left to right, the projection of the “ah” vowel becomes progressively stronger. There is a large amount of sound pressure coming from the “ah” vowels. I should think that during the composition of the lyrics, he intentionally wanted the “ah” sounds to be the highlight.

Characteristics of his voice:
- He can express the same word in diverse ways
- A bright voice which comes across strongly in the frequency range of 7000Hz
- A pretty falsetto

He possesses a bright voice which is capable of a myriad of expressions
The areas surrounded by the rectangles are sounds which end with the “ah” vowel. He sings like he’s talking; and by altering the strength of his falsetto and belting greatly, he’s able to sing expressively. Another characteristic of his voice is that it comes through strongly in the frequency range of 7000Hz. He has a voice like Hosokawa Takashi*, which is bright and cuts across to its listeners clearly. However, he varies his tone depending on the song. In any case, he’s a singer with a diverse range of expressions.

*T/N: Hosokawa Takashi is a Japanese enka singer.

Matsumoto Jun
A singing voice which is rich in overtones
voice jun
“Normally, a person would alter his voice by modifying the shape of his mouth. However, for his voice to be this rich in overtones, it’s proof that the oscillation of his vocal cords is rather dynamic.”

Characteristics of his voice:
- A very human voice that is rich in overtones
- The slight noise emphasizes the human aspect of his voice
- Dynamic vocal cord oscillation

A rich and warm voice that is like a violin
On average, he projects overtones up till the frequency of 12500Hz via the oscillation of his vocal cords. A regular person would only be able to project overtones up till 8000Hz, so he has a rich timbre to his voice. He has a voice which resembles stringed instruments, such as a violin; it’s warm, refreshing and rich. Coupled slightly with the noise that comes from the shape of his vocal tract, that again adds to the warmth of his voice. Even after processing his voice through a vocoder, the human quality in it remains.

Man in the Bed

A very cute fanfic here... <333

Title: Man in the Bed
Author: shirukaze
Disclaimer: Arashi doesn't belong to me. Pity 'bout that.

"Sho, there's a naked man in your bed!" Aiba had exclaimed in awe outside his hotel door, his eyes wide, ogling at the bare back of the man who lay half-covered under the blankets on Sakurai Sho's double bed.

Sho himself was standing in the doorway with his door half-opened, facing his overexcited band member, sleepily.

"And you're naked too!"

"No I'm not, shut up!" Sho refuted. "I'm wearing a towel aren't I?"

"But you're naked under that, so if you move wrongly, I can see-"

Sho groaned. "Aiba, it's too early in the morning for you to make noise. What do you need?"

"Uh- It's about the concert rehearsal later..."

After quickly going through the timing with Aiba, he returned back to his room, shutting the door behind him to get a little bit more rest before the official time for him to get up.

Barely ten minutes later, a knock came on his door again. Sho gave a quick glance at the person beside him, who was softly breathing, but remained unmoving. The knock came again.

"Tch." Sho struggled to get back up, grabbed the towel which he'd left by his bedside and wrapped it around his lower body to open the door as he did with Aiba earlier.

"Sorry to interrupt you in the morning, but the manager told me to pass this list to you if I pass by your room...," came Ohno's quiet voice, which trailed off. Sho followed the path of his eyes, and realised he was looking at the direction of his bed.

Sho took the paper from Ohno's hand.

"Thanks. Sorry you had to deliver this to me."

"No... no problem at all." Ohno smiled at him gently and turned away, without giving a second glance inside. Sho wasn't quite able to sleep back, so he went and took a shower instead, getting ready for the rehearsal later. He was still combing his hair when yet another knock came on his door.

He sighed and went to pull the door open for the third time that morning. It was Nino, giving him a wide, meaningful smile. One that said he was up to something. Sho felt like closing the door on him, but the manners he'd been brought up with refused to allow him to do so.

"Morning Sho!" Nino greeted him brightly. Too brightly.

"Mornin'. What's up?"

"Well..." Sho noticed the shorter guy squinting his eyes, trying to look inside. Sho felt the need to move and block his view, and did so. Nino looked back at him, unfazed.

"Well, Nino?"

Nino gave him an appraising look. From top to... towel.

"Okay, I'll be frank. I came here to look at the mysterious naked man in your bed." Nino told him bluntly.

"...I see...Aiba huh?"

"Oh yes well you know..." Nino said distractedly, still trying to peek inside. "Can't... help...a mystery..."

Sho sighed and stopped blocking Nino.

"Okay just a glance, but no going in."

Nino grinned triumphantly and looked inside. The grin on his face changed to an incredulous look. He turned and marched down the corridor towards the other members' rooms.

"Aiba, you ASS! It's J! How can you NOT recognise his back?!" The rest of his sentence turned into a muttered rambling. "Knew it... should have... ages ago... Finally... Tsk!"

"What's with all the damned ruckus?" A sleepy voice demanded from behind Sho. Sho hid a smile and shrugged as he turned back into his room.

"Who knows? You're awake, finally? Time to get ready for the rehearsal."

"Ugh... Damn, it's time already? Okay."

The Official First Kiss

Such a sweet fanfic I just read...

TITLE: The Official First Kiss
AUTHOR: tsunderellasays
PAIRING: Sakurai ShoxMatsumoto Jun
RATING: G
WORD COUNT: 804 words
DISCLAIMER: I don’t own Arashi, unfortunately. They do own my soul, though.
NOTE: This fic was inspired by this Tumblr post and the AnS episode from said post. I do believe that Sho was jealous in this episode. XD

When the shoot for Arashi no Shukudai-kun was over, they proceeded to their dressing room. Aiba, Nino and Ohno had quickly packed their bags and left early because Ogura-san had decided to treat them for drinks in a nearby izakaya. Sho and Jun had politely declined, because Sho had News ZERO work, while Jun had a photo shoot.

Sho watched as Jun packed his belongings. That weird feeling in his stomach wouldn’t go away, and it was bothering him to no end. He debated on whether he should talk to Jun about it… or maybe not, especially since Jun was the reason of this weird feeling.

“I was twelve.”

Sho snapped out of his thoughts. He turned to Jun; his belongings were packed, but he didn’t look like he was about to leave just yet.

“Eh?” Sho asked, seeking for clarification.

“I was twelve when I had my first kiss,” Jun explained.

“Oh…” Sho said, that weird feeling in his stomach started to bubble up. “So why didn’t you say that during the taping?”

Jun shrugged. “I thought it wasn’t an official first kiss.”

Sho raised an eyebrow. “What’s that supposed to mean?” he asked.

“Aren’t kisses supposed to be shared by people who really like each other?” Jun said.

“Yeah…” Sho replied. He wasn’t sure how he was supposed to follow Jun’s trail of thought. Although, he saw a slight ray of hope…

“I didn’t like her,” Jun admitted. “We were just acquaintances, and she kissed me by surprise one day.”

The weird feeling started to lessen. “So, you never had an official first kiss?” Sho concluded.

Jun shook his head. “Never.”

Sho didn’t know what came over him when he took a huge step forward and grabbed Jun’s hands. Surprisingly, the younger man didn’t protest; he just stood there, frozen in place.

“Would…” Sho stammered. “Would you like to have your official first kiss?”

He looked up into Jun’s eyes, which were wide and questioning. He gulped, the weird feeling in his stomach being replaced by fear… that maybe that was one stupid move…

But then a small smile and a tinge of pink colored Jun’s cheeks. “Yeah… I’d like that.”

Sho smiled, the knots in his stomach suddenly gone, and now he was floating. He tilted his head up, and Jun’s face was suddenly too close…

Then, there was a loud bang and sounds of people swearing.

Sho and Jun jumped away from each other and turned their gazes to the door Aiba and Ohno were lying down on the floor, while Nino was leaning on the doorway, a hand covering his face.

“What in the name of—“ Jun exclaimed.

“And this is why I don’t lean too close to the door when I’m listening in on people,” Nino said.

“You were listening in on us?!” Sho exclaimed, even if the answer was right in front of him.

Nino gave his signature smirk and nod. “Yeah, sure, I do it all the time, Sho-chan,” he drawled.

“What I meant to say is—why are the three of you listening in?!”

“Well,” Nino said, helping Ohno up (Aiba had held out his hand as a call to help him get up, but Nino ignored him), “Leader here wants to make sure his plan worked.”

“What plan?” Jun asked in confusion.

Ohno sniffed. “You know… getting you two together.”

“What?” Jun and Sho said at the same time.

“Leader thought that asking Jun-chan about his first kiss will make Sho-chan jealous!” Aiba piped up, getting up by himself.

“Well, it worked,” Sho muttered.

“You were jealous?” Jun asked, surprised.

Sho gave Jun an embarrassed smile. “Wasn’t it obvious?” he said. “I wasn’t joining in on the conversation.”

Aiba giggled. “Now that it worked, I guess we can catch up with Ogura-san in the izakaya, right, guys?”

Nino shrugged, an arm already around Ohno’s waist. “Yeah. He’s paying, anyway.”

“Bye, guys!” came Ohno’s accomplished and cheerful voice before the door closed.

A minute after the three left, Sho turned to face Jun, all embarrassed and awkward. “So…”

Jun was scratching the back of his head uncomfortably. “We are together… right?” he asked.

Sho smiled. “Yeah, I guess,” he said. He took both of Jun’s hands, the latter reciprocating the touch with a gentle squeeze.

Jun smiled back. “Cool. So… should we finish what we were supposed to start?”

“I’d like that,” Sho said. He leaned forward to press his lips against Jun’s.

The kiss was short, yet sweet. Jun’s lips were chapped, and they tasted of that coffee candy that he had a couple of minutes ago. He felt giddy, happy and left wanting more.

But they pulled away because of a giggling fit from both of them. They decided to call it a day, and they left the studio, hand in hand.

Title: [C]hocolate Ice Cream
Series: Alphabets Challenge
Author: [info]chocoxchips
Pairing: Sakumiya
Note: The letters were inspired by another fanfic.
[Alphabets Challenge Masterpost]

“Hey! Stop that!”
Eight years old Sho ran towards the group of boys in front of him, voice loud and angry, “I’m telling the teacher!”
The group of boys immediately ran away when the word teacher reached their ears, leaving their bully victim all alone in the sand.
“Are you okay?” Sho helped the boy up as he patted all the sand off him. “You’re safe now.”
Those reassuring words didn’t really work though, seeing as the injured boy was still crying.
“Don’t cry! The mean bullies are gone now!” Sho panicked when the boy wouldn’t stop crying. He didn’t know what to do at all, and the crying boy was getting louder.
“I know!” Sho suddenly thought of something. He ran off after telling the crying boy to wait for him, and returned within a few minutes.
Panting as he supported his half bent body with one arm, Sho held onto an ice cream cone with his free hand. He smiled despite of desperately catching his breath, and handed the chocolate flavoured ice cream cone to the crying boy.
Sho watched as the boy in front of him slowly stopped crying, and reached for the ice cream cone in his hand. The boy took a small bite of the chocolate ice cream, and a grin slowly stretched across his lips.
Seeing the smile on the boy’s face, Sho felt butterflies in his stomach. He felt proud because he managed to scare the bullies away, relieved because the boy stopped crying, and happy because the boy was smiling because of him.
While the boy was still eating his ice cream, Sho took his hands and walked towards the bench nearby.
“My name is Sakurai Sho, but you can call me Sho.”
The boy looked up from his ice cream, reached out his hand and smiled with the chocolate ice cream moustache he had, “I’m Nino! Ninomiya Kazunari.”
*****
“Let’s write letters to each other.” Nino suggested as he licked the chocolate flavoured ice cream in his hand. “To each other ten years in the future.”
“Huh?” Sho looked at his boyfriend, eyebrows knitted together in confusion.
“It’ll be our high school memory!” Nino smiled as he shoved a piece of paper in Sho’s hands. “Plus, you’re graduation this year anyways. You can look back ten years from now and reminisce about how we were in high school!”
As they wrote the letters, Sho tried to take a peek at what Nino was writing, but got smacked in the head everytime for trying.
When they folded and inserted the letters in separate envelopes, Nino took a messy bite out of his chocolate ice cream, and sealed his letter to future Sho with a chocolate kiss stained.
Chuckling as Nino offered him his ice cream, Sho did the same and left a messy kiss stained on his letter to future Nino as well.
When Sho was done putting both their letters in a metal box, Nino playfully pulled him into a kiss just as he took the box away. Leaving no time for Sho to react, Nino ran off as he shouted:
“Come on! Let’s bury these under the tree where you confessed to me.”
*****
“Is there anything else you want?” Jun asked as he handed Nino his bag of luggage, eyes full of concern.
Clutching onto his luggage, Nino looked at his surroundings. The person he decided to give up was nowhere to be seen. Although he should know that he wouldn’t be there, he was still disappointed.
Just then, the music of an ice cream truck resounded in the air.
His throat tightened as tears swelled up around his eyes. With a sob choking out, Nino whimpered out, “Jun… I want to eat chocolate flavoured ice cream one last time…”
~
Sho frantically opened every drawer and cupboard doors in his apartment, desperately trying to find a trace of Nino.
When he finally gave up, he realized that Nino had left without leaving any traces or hints of coming back. He was gone… just like that.
The guitar he used to play for him had disappeared, along with the video games they used to play. The clothes Sho thought Nino looked cute in were gone too. The only thing left of Nino, was the photo beside the tv.
Holding onto the photo, Sho tried calling Nino but failed for the millionth time. With his heart pounding fast out of fear, he dialled a second set of number.
“Where’s Nino!?” Sho shouted the moment Jun picked up.
“……….” After a pause, Jun let out a sigh and said. “Aren’t you a little too late? He’s been gone for a week now. Where were you for the past week!?”
“I…” It was true, he hadn’t been home for the past ten days.
It started out with something small, but it escalated into a fight. He walked out the apartment, not wanting to face Nino at all. He loves him, but the thought of him having to bow down and apologize irritated him. He knew Nino had called him a few times after the fight, but he didn’t want to pick up.
At the end, he turned off his phone and decided to live in a hotel.
If Nino’s boss didn’t call him saying he hadn’t been at work for the past week, Sho wouldn’t have realized. The fear of losing Nino wouldn’t have sparked, and he would have never realized.
“Nino decided already.” Jun’s voice came up to interrupt his train of thoughts. “Rather than watching everything fade away, he chose to leave when he still has something to hold onto.”
“Please… I just want to talk to him-”
“Save it.” Jun sounded angry and determined. “If you really care, you would have noticed Nino was gone earlier, not a week after.”
*****
It’s been three years, and Sho haven’t seen Nino once.
He tried looking for him, tried coming up with excuses to why Nino left, tried lying to himself. He tried everything he could think of, but nothing worked.
He was still alone, still regretting what he had done.
No matter how hard Sho tried, his connections with Nino were slowly fading away.
When Nino left, he left with the three things he deemed most important in his life: Games, money and guitar. The only important thing Nino left behind, was him.
The only thing left for Sho to depend on, was the promise he and Nino made when they were teenagers. The promise to go back to their high school and open the letters they wrote for each other ten years ago.
~
Dusting the dirt away, Sho opened the metal box he dug out.
He was surprised to find only one letter in the metal box. That only means one thing.
Nino cheated.
He opened the letter before the promised ten years, and left without seeing him. Sho had been guarding this place since 6:00am, not wanting to miss the chance of seeing Nino.
Was Nino that afraid of seeing him?
With shaky hands, he opened the letter.
Dear the 28 years old Sho kun~
I wonder, do you still remember this letter? This is the seventeen years old Ninomiya Kazunari!
I wonder how you look right now, probably very handsome with a lot of girls admiring you. But one thing’s for sure, your shoulders would still slope!
You were always smart and hardworking, so I’m guessing you have a very high salary right now. You also live in a nice apartment, drive a Mercedes or something!
I wonder if you’re married or not. If you are, your wife is probably very beautiful and your children would be like mini Sho kuns jumping around. I just hope they didn’t inherit your sloppy shoulders.
It’s been ten years by the time you read this letter. Do you still remember me?
Are we still in love?
Like I said, it would have been ten years already. A lot can happen in this time period.
If we’re still in love, you’d probably make fun of me for this letter.
But if you don’t remember me, the purpose of this letter is to remind you about what we had. I selfishly want to you remember, because I’d hate it if you were to forget all our memories.
You can’t forget how we met. You can’t forget about the chocolate flavoured ice cream. You can’t forget how you confessed to me. You can’t forget about our first kiss. You can’t forget about the pranks we used to pull on Masaki. You can’t forget about the first night we had together.
Those are our memories, Sho kun. They’re our precious memories that we’ve created since we were eight.
You can’t forget them. I won’t let you.
No matter what we are right now, may it be lovers, friends or even strangers, I want you to remember about us.
I want you to remember that we were in love.
Nino.

Sho reread the letter a few times, only realizing he was crying when his tears had smudged Nino’s writings. He carefully put the letter back in the envelope, and stared at the chocolate kiss seal that Nino had placed ten years ago.
He used to question why Nino was so obsessed with chocolate flavoured ice cream, even when they had turned into adults. Right now, he just wanted to share an ice cream cone with Nino like they used to do.
~
Dear Nino chan~
Hello future Nino, this is Sakurai Sho from ten years ago!
You suggested writing letters to each other and open them ten years in the future, but I don’t really know what to write.
If this is ten years in the future, than you should be 27 already! Wow, I still can’t imagine ourselves that old yet! I wonder what we’ll be doing at that age.
My guess is that you’ll probably be a musician, baseball player or game designer! Or better yet, you can be my personal housewife! (I know you’ll smack my head for this, but that’s for me to worry about in ten years~)
I wonder if you’ll still be as skinny as you are right now. I sure hope not! You’re too skinny, its kind of unhealthy. For your face… I think you’ll still look around the same. You have a baby face that will probably never age.
A lot of things can change in ten years, but I hope they change for the better. 27 years old Nino, are you happy with what you are right now? But the one thing I’m sure will never change, is us.
I don’t know why you wanted me to write this letter, but I’ll make you a ten years promise. I promise you that by the time we read these letters, we’ll still be in love.
No matter how far in the future, I promise you we’ll still be together. We’ll always eat chocolate flavoured ice cream as we hold hands. We’ll always be together. We’ll always be in love with each other.
So that’s why, we should celebrate my genius prediction of us by eating chocolate flavoured ice cream! And afterwards, we can write another letter to ourselves in the future again.
The next letter we write can be to ourselves ten, twenty or even fifty years in the future! I’ll still write the same thing, because I’m sure.
I’m sure we’ll always be together.
Sakurai Sho.

Clutching onto the letter Sho wrote to him, Nino covered his mouth as he slumped to the ground. Tears raced down his cheeks as his hands trembled.
Nino was in a far distance behind Sho, but he wanted to reach out his hand and touch the man he had been avoiding for three years. But he couldn’t move. His body seemed to be frozen, preventing him from getting himself hurt all over again.
Suddenly, the music of an ice cream truck rippled across the area. The nostalgic sound pulled two crying men out of their misery for one second, and caught their attention.
When Sho turned around to look at the source of the sound, he found something more precious than chocolate flavoured ice cream.
He found the very person that made chocolate flavoured ice cream precious.

THE END.

New writter?

I kinda like her fanfics. they are all cute ^^

Title: What If?
Author: [info]nhbsakakude
Pairings: Juntoshi, Masatoshi, Ohmiya, Yama
Rating: PG
Length: Drabbles
Genre: Fluff
Warning: Mushy-ness~
Summary: How would Ohno’s everyday life looks like if he were to date each member?

The Perfectionist Juntoshi

“Leader! Your tie is crooked again!”

Ohno looked down and indeed it was crooked. He raised his hands to fix it but was slapped away by two impatient pale hands. Warily, he looked up to see Jun grumbling as he adjusted the older man’s tie. Jun spent few seconds tugging it and once he was satisfied, he let go and set to brush off any dust he sees on Ohno’s suit. Ohno fought the urge to roll his eyes. ‘Perfectionist.’

“Come on we’re gonna be late for the interview,” Jun reminded in a rush before turning around to leave the dressing room. However, he remembered something and turned back. Marching towards Ohno, he gave a peck on his lips and smile.

“Nearly forgotten about this,” the perfectionist murmured softly, a gentle smile on his face. With that, he turned towards the door leaving Ohno behind. Ohno smiled cheekily and set off to tug at his tie again.

The Gamer Ohmiya
Ohno looked up from the fish magazine he was reading to the man who was sitting on the floor cross-legged near the television. Nino was currently fully focused on playing his PS3 game, FF13 versus, holding the controller in a tight grip. Apparently he was having a hard time fighting the boss.

Trying not to make a sound, Ohno carefully stood up, the magazine still in his hands. Silently, he crept towards Nino and stood beside him. Without even taking his eyes off for a second, Nino raised both his arms. At the gesture, Ohno immediately moved forward and lay down, careful not to block the gamer’s vision. Resting his head on the latter’s lap, he flipped opened to the page he had stopped and resume reading.

Fifteen minutes later, there was a sharp intake of breath and Ohno looked up knowing Nino had won. Without missing a beat, the gamer grinned and swooped down to claim a victory kiss from the willing man on his lap.

The Newscaster Yama
Sho flipped the newspaper, his eyes skimming the article. This was already his third newspaper and judging from the pile of stacks laid down beside him, Ohno doubt he would end any earlier.

Ohno pursed his lips and dragged his chair nearer. The legs of the chair scrapped the floor loudly, yet Sho was undisturbed. Without lifting his eyes, he said. “Satoshi, you’re going to leave marks on the floor if you do that.”

The tone was monotonous and well delivered as though the sentence had been used countless of times. Ohno ignored his advice, merely staring at the man intensely. Finally after a few minutes, Sho sighed. Pausing his reading for a moment, he turned his head to the waiting man and gave him a brief kiss on the lips. Having done so, he returned back to his newspaper.

Ohno, who now had gotten what he wanted, turned back to the table and resume his doodling.

The Kind Idiot Masatoshi
“Hey leader you want some?” Aiba asked as he shoved a half-eaten hotdog in his face. Mildly disgusted at the sauce and mayonnaise oozing out between the bread, Ohno shook his head.

Aiba nodded a grin still etched on his face and proceed to finish the hotdog. Seeing how happy he was munching, it was safe to say he was totally unaffected by Ohno’s rejection to have a bite. Ohno decided to ask a question which has been bugging him ever since he knew Aiba.

“Hey Aiba-chan, is there anything you don’t share with anyone at all?”

Aiba said smiling widely and wrapped his arms around Ohno in a tight grip. Leaning forward he slapped a sloppy kiss on the shorter man’s left cheek which the latter couldn’t helped but winced at the slimy texture.

“Leader is the only thing I will NEVER share with anyone!!”

A/N: for Sho’s birthday
“We’re almost at the end of the month,” Jun said leading the other into their greenroom. The small room was equipped with a large rectangular table with chairs in the middle of it and a couch against the wall. “I still remember all that performances we did a month ago,” Jun continued as he took his usual place closest to the door and settled down with a content sigh. Everyone looked tired since they were just finished recording double episode of VS Arashi.

“Time sure is moving fast when we’re having fun,” Sho said. He sat across Jun, with Ohno beside him. Nino took his DS from his bag before making his way to the couch, lying on it.

“Kohaku was really fun. To think that the whole world was watching us really made me happy,” Aiba said as he took his place beside Jun. He smiled thankfully when Ohno handed him bottles of water from across the table and passed one to Nino behind him.

“Yeah. Despite those spoiled group of brats running around making jokes of everything, I think we did great,” Nino said without looking up from his DS.

“You’re one to talk, Ninomiya,” Jun said as he started packing things into his bag lazily ignoring Nino’s fierce eyes on him.

“I think last year was the busiest end of year for us,” Sho said thoughtfully. “We had performed at FNS, hosting Kohaku, and did live broadcast performance for Johnny’s Countdown. There were also minor shows that we had to do for New Year.”

“Don’t forget about Music Station Super Live,” Ohno continued. He turned to look at Aiba and smiled. “You’ve received a birthday cake right, Aiba-chan?”

“Yes!” Aiba exclaimed. “Thank you, guys. The cake was delicious.”

“Don’t thank us,” Nino looked up from his DS to Aiba before looking at Sho who was fixing his hair in front of a mirror. “The whole thing was his idea.”

“It was nothing, really,” Sho smiled upon realizing Aiba’s eyes on him from the mirror. “That what friends are for,” he continued.

“Just spare me from something like this,” Nino said before looking back down to his DS. “I don’t want to waste my precious time thinking of what to give you back for your birthday,” he continued without looking up.

Aiba looked attentively to Nino before turning back at Sho. Sho raised his eyebrows upon seeing Aiba eyeing him anxiously. “What is it?”

“I-,” Aiba

“I’ll be taking my leave now. Good work, everyone,” Jun said before disappearing behind the door.

“We’ll be going too,” Ohno said as he grabbed his and Nino’s things from the table before pulling Nino off the couch and dragged him to the door. “See you guys tomorrow.”

As soon as the two disappeared, Sho turned his focus on Aiba. “You were saying…?”

“No- Nothing important,” Aiba stuttered. “I better go too or I’ll be late for my drama.”

“Ok. See you tomorrow.”

---

“Morning,” Jun greeted the other four as soon as he entered the room. He frowned when no one show a sign to respond.

Ohno was occupying the couch with a lap full of Nino. His eyes were closed so Jun figured that their leader was probably sleeping, oblivious to the sound coming from Nino’s DS. And Jun knew Nino would never tear his eyes away from his DS when he started to be absorbed in it.

Jun watched as Sho busied himself with his laptop on the table. Jun also knew that Sho wouldn’t respond when he was too engrossed with his work. Judging by the speed of his fingers moving against the keyboard, Jun could guess that the deadline was that day. Everyone knew not to bother the man during that time of the day ever since they witnessed Aiba getting yelled for disturbing him.

But Aiba was another story. No matter how busy he was, he would still respond to his surrounding properly. But the Aiba he saw that day wasn’t the usual cheery guy who would always reply cheerfully to everything. He had his head on the table, looking at Sho who was obviously oblivious of him being watched.

Jun sighed as he made his way to Aiba, taking his place beside him and patted his shoulder gently. To his expectation, Aiba slightly flinched from the touch before straightened up.

“What are you thinking about?” Jun asked. “You can make a hole on the wall by staring like that.”

“I wasn’t staring,” Aiba denied and looked away, pouting.

“Ok, sorry. You weren’t staring,” Jun gave up. “So, what’s wrong?”

“I was-” Aiba was cut short when a staff suddenly appeared at the door to call them for recording. Jun turned his focus back to Aiba after that but the older man only smiled and said nothing. He wanted to ask him again but decided to ask later since the others had already made their way to the recording studio.

The recording went fine apart from a few mistakes done by Aiba. He appeared as his cheerful self but Jun can see that he was trying hard. Sho had disappeared as soon as they finished with the recording to go for his next work. Jun thought that the best time to confront Aiba was when when Nino and Ohno excused themselves for the day.

Aiba was sitting with his head on the table hiding it in his arms. Jun took his place across him and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Wanna tell me now, what’s bugging you?” Jun asked. “And don’t tell me it’s nothing coz you’ve practically doubled your idiocy at the recording today.”

Aiba looked up to Jun without lifting his head upon hearing the question. He was wearing a sad expression on his face and that made Jun remembered his pet dog back at home when he refused to let it out to play. “Sorry,” Aiba said quietly.

“Care to share what’s on your mind? I’ll see if I can help,” Jun said again. “Is it about Sho?” he asked and smirked when he saw Aiba lifted his head and looked at him, wide eyes.

“How’d you kn-,” Aiba tried to ask but stopped in the middle as he remembered Jun’s words that morning. He sighed before starting to tell Jun everything that had been bothering him.

“That’s it?” Jun asked frowning. “You’re troubled about what he’d done for you?”

“Not troubled, it’s more like- I don’t know what is it exactly,” Aiba pouted. “I just thought that he must be thinking that I’m ungrateful.”

“Aiba-chan, I don’t think you should be so work up over this,” Jun said softly. He knew from experience that whenever Aiba started to make a big deal out of anything, it won’t do him or their group any good.

“You don’t understand, Matsujun,” Aiba suddenly snapped. “It not just about that particular event but he’s been looking after me for the last 11 years. And yet I’ve done nothing to repay him.”

“Ok, sorry. Here’s my idea, if you really wanna show him… your gratitude… you could…” Jun stopped to think before continued with enthusiasm. “… buy him something he likes; something that he always wanted. Like jewelries or a designer clothes or something expensive.”

Aiba looked at Jun thoughtfully before sighing. “But I don’t have that much money,” he said weakly. “Besides, that would only work for you, Matsujun. I don’t think Sho-chan would like something like th-,” he stopped upon feeling something fell on top of his head. He rubbed that certain spot and looked up to see Jun’s fierce eyes on him. “It hurts.”

“Don’t ask me about anything anymore, idiot.”

“But you’re the one asking me to tell you,” Aiba whined while looking at Jun storming out of the room. “Why is he so mad?” he asked himself.

---

Ohno settled on the couch and closed his eyes. There was no one around when he arrived at the greenroom that morning. He wondered where Sho could’ve been when he was suppose to be the first to arrived everyday but decided not to mind much about it.

As he was about to set sail on his huge boat to the Dreamland, he heard a long sigh so close to his ear. He was sure that no one was inside when he entered the room. Was it a ghost? He hasn’t seen one since their early debut days. He sat up and tried to listen to the sound clearly. The sound was coming from behind the couch he was sitting.

Ohno was hesitating whether to run or just stay when he heard the sound again. This time it was somewhat familiar. He got on his knees and peek behind the couch to see a figure emitting a depressing aura leaning against the couch, hidden from the world. “Aiba-chan?” he called.

Aiba looked up and smiled sadly upon seeing Ohno’s face looking down to him. “Morning, Riida.”

“What’s wrong, Aiba-chan?” Ohno asked.

Aiba looked at the leader as the older man settled beside him. “Riida, I don’t know what to do,” he whined.

“About what?” Ohno asked. He wasn’t a leader for nothing despite what everybody thought about him. He had done a great job keeping the group all together for 11 years without has to even do anything. He listened as Aiba told him everything that was bothering him. “So you want to thank him?”

“Yeah, something like that,” Aiba nodded. “What can I do?”

“Hmm, to tell the truth, I don’t know either,” Ohno giggled.

“Sorry. I shouldn’t have trouble you with my problem.”

“It’s the least I can do as a leader,” Ohno said patting Aiba’s back.

“Thanks, Oh-chan” Aiba smiled. “But what would you do if you were me?”

“Well, if I were you, I’ll ask him to go fishing,” Ohno said with a content smile.

Aiba had opened his mouth to ask further when a voice startled them. “What are you two doing hiding there?” Sho asked.

“Aiba-chan was asking me how to-”

Aiba was fast cutting Ohno’s words. “No- nothing, we- we’re just playing hide and seek, right Riida?” Aiba chuckled nervously and sighed in relieved when Ohno nodded.

“Sounds like fun,” Sho said as he joined them behind the couch. “So, who’s the seeker?”

---

Nino yawned as he walked towards Arashi’s greenroom. Another day, another work, he sighed. He was tired from staying up all night playing games plus a text and call from someone (not that he responded to since he was too busy playing). He decided to come early to avoid being late for work. He could catch some sleep at their greenroom while waiting for others to come. He tried not to pass out before arriving at the room.

To his dismay a certain someone he wanted to avoid early in the morning was already in the room waiting for him. He tried to escape but the other was fast to grab him.

“What do you want?” Nino asked with annoyance. He let himself being drag by that being into the couch and settled on it. Aiba started talking as soon as their butts landed on the couch.

“… to do,” Aiba cried and clung onto Nino to add the effect. “Are you listening to me?”

“Yeah, I’m listening,” Nino said as he leaned against the couch, closing his eyes. “Though I don’t have to listen to you just to know what you wanted to talk about. You’ve sent me like a hundred texts already.”

“I know you didn’t read all of it,” Aiba reasoned. “Nino, open your eyes and look at me.”

“One was enough to figure out the rest,” Nino said without opening his eyes or moving. “It’s not like I know you just yesterday, Masaki.”

Aiba knew Nino was getting irritated since he had used Aiba’s given name. It was always ‘Aiba’, ‘Aiba-chan’, ‘Aiba-kun’ or even ‘Aibaka’ for Nino but never ‘Masaki’. When ‘Masaki’ came out of his mouth, it meant that he was getting annoyed. “Sorry,” he said quietly.

“whatever,” Nino suddenly felt guilty for treating Aiba that way. He knew that Aiba was a simple person and everything that he bothered to think about must have meant a lot to him. “I’ve got a prefect idea for you,” Nino said as he flashed Aiba his infamous mischievous smile. He signaled Aiba to lean forward before whispering something in his ear.

“A- Are you sure it’ll work?” Aiba asked nervously.

“Since when did my plan didn’t work?” Nino asked back. “Now get the hell away from me and wake me when it’s time for work.”

---

The bath was relaxing. He hung the towel around his waist and on his head and made his way to the living room. He smiled hearing repeated sounds coming from his handphone on the coffee table indicating he’d received yet another text messages. Another 10 minutes to his birthday and people had started wishing him.

He turned on the TV before going to the kitchen to fix himself something to drink. He was walking back to the living room when he heard his doorbell. He put the glass on the kitchen table and went to answer the door. The door opened to Aiba’s anxious face.

“Aiba-chan, what are you doing here?” Sho asked, surprise to see his band mate standing in front of his door at that hour. “Please, come in.”

“Hi, Sh- Sho-chan,” Aiba swallowed painfully. His eyes moved throughout Sho’s body unwillingly causing him to stutter. “I- I was- you. I mean, I was- I am- I’m-”

If wasn’t for Aiba’s flushed face, Sho wouldn’t notice that he was standing half naked at the doorway. “Sorry, I was just finished bathing,” he said, blushing. “Help yourself while I’ll go change.”

“Wa- wait,” Aiba grabbed Sho’s hand before the older man escaped to his room. “It’s already 12 midnight.”

“Ye-” Sho didn’t manage to finish his words when Aiba suddenly leaned forward for a kiss. The kiss lasted a few second but long enough for both of them to feel something inside.

“Wha- What was that for?” Sho asked as soon as he was out of the spell.

“Your… birthday present,” Aiba chuckled nervously. He looked down avoiding Sho’s gaze on him and slowly withdrew when Sho advanced to him.

“My birthday present?” Sho asked back. “What happen to things you can buy at a store and wrap nicely in a box?”
“I- I’m sorry, Sho-chan,” Aiba said as he fell backward onto the couch. He must have withdrawn too far inside the house into the living room. He looked up to Sho’s impassive eyes before looking back down. “I didn’t know what to give you. Every time I thought of something, either you already have it or you’re not interested,” Aiba said sadly.

Sho knelt in front of him making their face at the same level as each other. “Why do you want to give me something so badly?” Sho asked.

“Because, I didn’t want you to think that I’m an ungrateful child. You’ve always looked after me and I’ve done nothing for you.”

Sho touched Aiba’s chin gently and guided his face to look at him, bringing their lips inches closed. “So, you thought of giving me ‘this’ as a present?”

“Ye- yes.”

“I don’t take small give, Aiba.”

“I’m sorry, I-”

“Now I just have to take all of you.”

“I know. I’m really- what?” Aiba looked dumbfounded at Sho upon hearing his words. “what do you mean?”

“I will have all of you,” Sho said simply before tugging Aiba hand and pulled him up and towards the bedroom.

“Wa- Wait. It wasn’t supposed to be like this,” Aiba cried out and struggled to get out of Sho’s grip. The towel around Sho’s waist went loose revealing prove of his manhood causing Aiba to yelp.

Sho smirked upon seeing Aiba’s reaction. He took the chance to trap the younger against his bedroom door and held both his wrist on top of his head. “How is it supposed to be then?” he whispered into Aiba’s ear.

“You’re supposed to say ‘how silly of you Aiba-chan, I’m happy with anything you give me’,” Aiba said mimicking Sho’s manly voice, “… and then we’ll go out to celebrate together… or- or- or anything but this,” Aiba exclaimed.

“Well, I don’t feel like eating out,” Sho said and he nipped gently on Aiba’s ear causing the younger to shudder involuntarily. “I feel like eating you, tonight.” With last words being said, he opened the bedroom door and pushed Aiba inside.

“I don’t want this!” Aiba shouted as Sho kicked the door closed.

---

The next morning

“Morning, guys,” Sho entered the room with Aiba in hand and greeted the other three cheerfully. He led Aiba to the couch and sat him before placing their things on the table and

“You look happy, Sho-kun,” Ohno asked with a smile.

“Oh, something good happen to me last night,” Sho said winking at his new lover. Aiba looked down to hide his blushing face.

“Really? Care to share?” Jun said with a grin earning a smirk from Nino.

“Nah, I’m gonna keep this to myself,” Sho said as he took his place beside Aiba. He swung his hand around the younger’s shoulder and tightened his grip when Aiba tried to resist. A few minutes later Ohno and Jun left for their individual photo shoots.

“You’re awfully quiet today. Don’t tell me that my plan didn’t work,” Nino said looking at Aiba who was busy resisting Sho’s hand.

“Oh, that works just fine. Come to think again, I guess I owe you my gratitude.” I know you’re behind this all along, but I should thank you for that.

“Glad to know that. So should we fix our schedule together sometimes?” Nino replied. Now that we’re in favor of each other, I demand a dinner treat.

“Fine.”

Aiba looked at both his band mates in confusion as if they were talking in codes. “What are you guys talking about?” Aiba asked.

“Nothing, honey,” Sho said as he leaned forward to kiss Aiba but the other was fast on avoiding him.

“Nino’s here,” Aiba whispered.

“Please, even a blind man could see you’re lovey dovey mood,” Nino snorted as he stood up and grabbed his things. “Just keep it to yourself okay guys.” He managed before disappearing behind the door.

Aiba blushed hard while Sho laughed out to Nino’s remark. “Now that we’re alone again-” Sho pushed Aiba to lie on the couch and straddled him before going all out attacking his lips.

---

Last night

“Are you ok?” Sho asked as he caressed Aiba’s cheek lovingly, wiping away his tears. “Sorry for being rough on you.”

“I’m fine,” Aiba said between his sobs. “I just need to get use of this.” Sho leaned back on to the pillow, letting Aiba to rest on his chest. They lied quietly in the dark listening to each other heartbeat.

“Sho-chan, why?” Aiba asked breaking the silence.

“Why?” Sho asked back.

“Why me?”

“Because I’ve found my prefect present,” Sho said. Aiba lifted his head to look at Sho to try to understand what the older was saying. “The perfect present just for me,” he continued as he claimed Aiba’s lips for the nth time that night.

“Happy birthday, Sho-chan,” Aiba said shyly, closing his eyes to feel the new sensation he discovered together with Sho.
