Perfect Present

I was just reading a few fanfic when I read back this one. I just like the last part actually when Sho-chan's birthday starts ^^

Title: Perfect Present
Author
[info]faradakiut
Paring: Sakuraiba
Rating: pg-13 (implied situation)
Summary: Aiba was troubled about something so Nino proposed a plan… will it work?
Disclaimer: I will own them someday… just you wait and see… *evil laugh*
A/N: for Sho’s birthday
“We’re almost at the end of the month,” Jun said leading the other into their greenroom. The small room was equipped with a large rectangular table with chairs in the middle of it and a couch against the wall. “I still remember all that performances we did a month ago,” Jun continued as he took his usual place closest to the door and settled down with a content sigh. Everyone looked tired since they were just finished recording double episode of VS Arashi.

“Time sure is moving fast when we’re having fun,” Sho said. He sat across Jun, with Ohno beside him. Nino took his DS from his bag before making his way to the couch, lying on it.

“Kohaku was really fun. To think that the whole world was watching us really made me happy,” Aiba said as he took his place beside Jun. He smiled thankfully when Ohno handed him bottles of water from across the table and passed one to Nino behind him.

“Yeah. Despite those spoiled group of brats running around making jokes of everything, I think we did great,” Nino said without looking up from his DS.

“You’re one to talk, Ninomiya,” Jun said as he started packing things into his bag lazily ignoring Nino’s fierce eyes on him.

“I think last year was the busiest end of year for us,” Sho said thoughtfully. “We had performed at FNS, hosting Kohaku, and did live broadcast performance for Johnny’s Countdown. There were also minor shows that we had to do for New Year.”

“Don’t forget about Music Station Super Live,” Ohno continued. He turned to look at Aiba and smiled. “You’ve received a birthday cake right, Aiba-chan?”

“Yes!” Aiba exclaimed. “Thank you, guys. The cake was delicious.”

“Don’t thank us,” Nino looked up from his DS to Aiba before looking at Sho who was fixing his hair in front of a mirror. “The whole thing was his idea.”

“It was nothing, really,” Sho smiled upon realizing Aiba’s eyes on him from the mirror. “That what friends are for,” he continued.

“Just spare me from something like this,” Nino said before looking back down to his DS. “I don’t want to waste my precious time thinking of what to give you back for your birthday,” he continued without looking up.

Aiba looked attentively to Nino before turning back at Sho. Sho raised his eyebrows upon seeing Aiba eyeing him anxiously. “What is it?”

“I-,” Aiba

“I’ll be taking my leave now. Good work, everyone,” Jun said before disappearing behind the door.

“We’ll be going too,” Ohno said as he grabbed his and Nino’s things from the table before pulling Nino off the couch and dragged him to the door. “See you guys tomorrow.”

As soon as the two disappeared, Sho turned his focus on Aiba. “You were saying…?”

“No- Nothing important,” Aiba stuttered. “I better go too or I’ll be late for my drama.”

“Ok. See you tomorrow.”

---

“Morning,” Jun greeted the other four as soon as he entered the room. He frowned when no one show a sign to respond.

Ohno was occupying the couch with a lap full of Nino. His eyes were closed so Jun figured that their leader was probably sleeping, oblivious to the sound coming from Nino’s DS. And Jun knew Nino would never tear his eyes away from his DS when he started to be absorbed in it.

Jun watched as Sho busied himself with his laptop on the table. Jun also knew that Sho wouldn’t respond when he was too engrossed with his work. Judging by the speed of his fingers moving against the keyboard, Jun could guess that the deadline was that day. Everyone knew not to bother the man during that time of the day ever since they witnessed Aiba getting yelled for disturbing him.

But Aiba was another story. No matter how busy he was, he would still respond to his surrounding properly. But the Aiba he saw that day wasn’t the usual cheery guy who would always reply cheerfully to everything. He had his head on the table, looking at Sho who was obviously oblivious of him being watched.

Jun sighed as he made his way to Aiba, taking his place beside him and patted his shoulder gently. To his expectation, Aiba slightly flinched from the touch before straightened up.

“What are you thinking about?” Jun asked. “You can make a hole on the wall by staring like that.”

“I wasn’t staring,” Aiba denied and looked away, pouting.

“Ok, sorry. You weren’t staring,” Jun gave up. “So, what’s wrong?”

“I was-” Aiba was cut short when a staff suddenly appeared at the door to call them for recording. Jun turned his focus back to Aiba after that but the older man only smiled and said nothing. He wanted to ask him again but decided to ask later since the others had already made their way to the recording studio.

The recording went fine apart from a few mistakes done by Aiba. He appeared as his cheerful self but Jun can see that he was trying hard. Sho had disappeared as soon as they finished with the recording to go for his next work. Jun thought that the best time to confront Aiba was when when Nino and Ohno excused themselves for the day.

Aiba was sitting with his head on the table hiding it in his arms. Jun took his place across him and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Wanna tell me now, what’s bugging you?” Jun asked. “And don’t tell me it’s nothing coz you’ve practically doubled your idiocy at the recording today.”

Aiba looked up to Jun without lifting his head upon hearing the question. He was wearing a sad expression on his face and that made Jun remembered his pet dog back at home when he refused to let it out to play. “Sorry,” Aiba said quietly.

“Care to share what’s on your mind? I’ll see if I can help,” Jun said again. “Is it about Sho?” he asked and smirked when he saw Aiba lifted his head and looked at him, wide eyes.

“How’d you kn-,” Aiba tried to ask but stopped in the middle as he remembered Jun’s words that morning. He sighed before starting to tell Jun everything that had been bothering him.

“That’s it?” Jun asked frowning. “You’re troubled about what he’d done for you?”

“Not troubled, it’s more like- I don’t know what is it exactly,” Aiba pouted. “I just thought that he must be thinking that I’m ungrateful.”

“Aiba-chan, I don’t think you should be so work up over this,” Jun said softly. He knew from experience that whenever Aiba started to make a big deal out of anything, it won’t do him or their group any good.

“You don’t understand, Matsujun,” Aiba suddenly snapped. “It not just about that particular event but he’s been looking after me for the last 11 years. And yet I’ve done nothing to repay him.”

“Ok, sorry. Here’s my idea, if you really wanna show him… your gratitude… you could…” Jun stopped to think before continued with enthusiasm. “… buy him something he likes; something that he always wanted. Like jewelries or a designer clothes or something expensive.”

Aiba looked at Jun thoughtfully before sighing. “But I don’t have that much money,” he said weakly. “Besides, that would only work for you, Matsujun. I don’t think Sho-chan would like something like th-,” he stopped upon feeling something fell on top of his head. He rubbed that certain spot and looked up to see Jun’s fierce eyes on him. “It hurts.”

“Don’t ask me about anything anymore, idiot.”

“But you’re the one asking me to tell you,” Aiba whined while looking at Jun storming out of the room. “Why is he so mad?” he asked himself.

---

Ohno settled on the couch and closed his eyes. There was no one around when he arrived at the greenroom that morning. He wondered where Sho could’ve been when he was suppose to be the first to arrived everyday but decided not to mind much about it.

As he was about to set sail on his huge boat to the Dreamland, he heard a long sigh so close to his ear. He was sure that no one was inside when he entered the room. Was it a ghost? He hasn’t seen one since their early debut days. He sat up and tried to listen to the sound clearly. The sound was coming from behind the couch he was sitting.

Ohno was hesitating whether to run or just stay when he heard the sound again. This time it was somewhat familiar. He got on his knees and peek behind the couch to see a figure emitting a depressing aura leaning against the couch, hidden from the world. “Aiba-chan?” he called.

Aiba looked up and smiled sadly upon seeing Ohno’s face looking down to him. “Morning, Riida.”

“What’s wrong, Aiba-chan?” Ohno asked.

Aiba looked at the leader as the older man settled beside him. “Riida, I don’t know what to do,” he whined.

“About what?” Ohno asked. He wasn’t a leader for nothing despite what everybody thought about him. He had done a great job keeping the group all together for 11 years without has to even do anything. He listened as Aiba told him everything that was bothering him. “So you want to thank him?”

“Yeah, something like that,” Aiba nodded. “What can I do?”

“Hmm, to tell the truth, I don’t know either,” Ohno giggled.

“Sorry. I shouldn’t have trouble you with my problem.”

“It’s the least I can do as a leader,” Ohno said patting Aiba’s back.

“Thanks, Oh-chan” Aiba smiled. “But what would you do if you were me?”

“Well, if I were you, I’ll ask him to go fishing,” Ohno said with a content smile.

Aiba had opened his mouth to ask further when a voice startled them. “What are you two doing hiding there?” Sho asked.

“Aiba-chan was asking me how to-”

Aiba was fast cutting Ohno’s words. “No- nothing, we- we’re just playing hide and seek, right Riida?” Aiba chuckled nervously and sighed in relieved when Ohno nodded.

“Sounds like fun,” Sho said as he joined them behind the couch. “So, who’s the seeker?”

---

Nino yawned as he walked towards Arashi’s greenroom. Another day, another work, he sighed. He was tired from staying up all night playing games plus a text and call from someone (not that he responded to since he was too busy playing). He decided to come early to avoid being late for work. He could catch some sleep at their greenroom while waiting for others to come. He tried not to pass out before arriving at the room.

To his dismay a certain someone he wanted to avoid early in the morning was already in the room waiting for him. He tried to escape but the other was fast to grab him.

“What do you want?” Nino asked with annoyance. He let himself being drag by that being into the couch and settled on it. Aiba started talking as soon as their butts landed on the couch.

“… to do,” Aiba cried and clung onto Nino to add the effect. “Are you listening to me?”

“Yeah, I’m listening,” Nino said as he leaned against the couch, closing his eyes. “Though I don’t have to listen to you just to know what you wanted to talk about. You’ve sent me like a hundred texts already.”

“I know you didn’t read all of it,” Aiba reasoned. “Nino, open your eyes and look at me.”

“One was enough to figure out the rest,” Nino said without opening his eyes or moving. “It’s not like I know you just yesterday, Masaki.”

Aiba knew Nino was getting irritated since he had used Aiba’s given name. It was always ‘Aiba’, ‘Aiba-chan’, ‘Aiba-kun’ or even ‘Aibaka’ for Nino but never ‘Masaki’. When ‘Masaki’ came out of his mouth, it meant that he was getting annoyed. “Sorry,” he said quietly.

“whatever,” Nino suddenly felt guilty for treating Aiba that way. He knew that Aiba was a simple person and everything that he bothered to think about must have meant a lot to him. “I’ve got a prefect idea for you,” Nino said as he flashed Aiba his infamous mischievous smile. He signaled Aiba to lean forward before whispering something in his ear.

“A- Are you sure it’ll work?” Aiba asked nervously.

“Since when did my plan didn’t work?” Nino asked back. “Now get the hell away from me and wake me when it’s time for work.”

---

The bath was relaxing. He hung the towel around his waist and on his head and made his way to the living room. He smiled hearing repeated sounds coming from his handphone on the coffee table indicating he’d received yet another text messages. Another 10 minutes to his birthday and people had started wishing him.

He turned on the TV before going to the kitchen to fix himself something to drink. He was walking back to the living room when he heard his doorbell. He put the glass on the kitchen table and went to answer the door. The door opened to Aiba’s anxious face.

“Aiba-chan, what are you doing here?” Sho asked, surprise to see his band mate standing in front of his door at that hour. “Please, come in.”

“Hi, Sh- Sho-chan,” Aiba swallowed painfully. His eyes moved throughout Sho’s body unwillingly causing him to stutter. “I- I was- you. I mean, I was- I am- I’m-”

If wasn’t for Aiba’s flushed face, Sho wouldn’t notice that he was standing half naked at the doorway. “Sorry, I was just finished bathing,” he said, blushing. “Help yourself while I’ll go change.”

“Wa- wait,” Aiba grabbed Sho’s hand before the older man escaped to his room. “It’s already 12 midnight.”

“Ye-” Sho didn’t manage to finish his words when Aiba suddenly leaned forward for a kiss. The kiss lasted a few second but long enough for both of them to feel something inside.

“Wha- What was that for?” Sho asked as soon as he was out of the spell.

“Your… birthday present,” Aiba chuckled nervously. He looked down avoiding Sho’s gaze on him and slowly withdrew when Sho advanced to him.

“My birthday present?” Sho asked back. “What happen to things you can buy at a store and wrap nicely in a box?”
“I- I’m sorry, Sho-chan,” Aiba said as he fell backward onto the couch. He must have withdrawn too far inside the house into the living room. He looked up to Sho’s impassive eyes before looking back down. “I didn’t know what to give you. Every time I thought of something, either you already have it or you’re not interested,” Aiba said sadly.

Sho knelt in front of him making their face at the same level as each other. “Why do you want to give me something so badly?” Sho asked.

“Because, I didn’t want you to think that I’m an ungrateful child. You’ve always looked after me and I’ve done nothing for you.”

Sho touched Aiba’s chin gently and guided his face to look at him, bringing their lips inches closed. “So, you thought of giving me ‘this’ as a present?”

“Ye- yes.”

“I don’t take small give, Aiba.”

“I’m sorry, I-”

“Now I just have to take all of you.”

“I know. I’m really- what?” Aiba looked dumbfounded at Sho upon hearing his words. “what do you mean?”

“I will have all of you,” Sho said simply before tugging Aiba hand and pulled him up and towards the bedroom.

“Wa- Wait. It wasn’t supposed to be like this,” Aiba cried out and struggled to get out of Sho’s grip. The towel around Sho’s waist went loose revealing prove of his manhood causing Aiba to yelp.

Sho smirked upon seeing Aiba’s reaction. He took the chance to trap the younger against his bedroom door and held both his wrist on top of his head. “How is it supposed to be then?” he whispered into Aiba’s ear.

“You’re supposed to say ‘how silly of you Aiba-chan, I’m happy with anything you give me’,” Aiba said mimicking Sho’s manly voice, “… and then we’ll go out to celebrate together… or- or- or anything but this,” Aiba exclaimed.

“Well, I don’t feel like eating out,” Sho said and he nipped gently on Aiba’s ear causing the younger to shudder involuntarily. “I feel like eating you, tonight.” With last words being said, he opened the bedroom door and pushed Aiba inside.

“I don’t want this!” Aiba shouted as Sho kicked the door closed.

---

The next morning

“Morning, guys,” Sho entered the room with Aiba in hand and greeted the other three cheerfully. He led Aiba to the couch and sat him before placing their things on the table and

“You look happy, Sho-kun,” Ohno asked with a smile.

“Oh, something good happen to me last night,” Sho said winking at his new lover. Aiba looked down to hide his blushing face.

“Really? Care to share?” Jun said with a grin earning a smirk from Nino.

“Nah, I’m gonna keep this to myself,” Sho said as he took his place beside Aiba. He swung his hand around the younger’s shoulder and tightened his grip when Aiba tried to resist. A few minutes later Ohno and Jun left for their individual photo shoots.

“You’re awfully quiet today. Don’t tell me that my plan didn’t work,” Nino said looking at Aiba who was busy resisting Sho’s hand.

“Oh, that works just fine. Come to think again, I guess I owe you my gratitude.” I know you’re behind this all along, but I should thank you for that.

“Glad to know that. So should we fix our schedule together sometimes?” Nino replied. Now that we’re in favor of each other, I demand a dinner treat.

“Fine.”

Aiba looked at both his band mates in confusion as if they were talking in codes. “What are you guys talking about?” Aiba asked.

“Nothing, honey,” Sho said as he leaned forward to kiss Aiba but the other was fast on avoiding him.

“Nino’s here,” Aiba whispered.

“Please, even a blind man could see you’re lovey dovey mood,” Nino snorted as he stood up and grabbed his things. “Just keep it to yourself okay guys.” He managed before disappearing behind the door.

Aiba blushed hard while Sho laughed out to Nino’s remark. “Now that we’re alone again-” Sho pushed Aiba to lie on the couch and straddled him before going all out attacking his lips.

---

Last night

“Are you ok?” Sho asked as he caressed Aiba’s cheek lovingly, wiping away his tears. “Sorry for being rough on you.”

“I’m fine,” Aiba said between his sobs. “I just need to get use of this.” Sho leaned back on to the pillow, letting Aiba to rest on his chest. They lied quietly in the dark listening to each other heartbeat.

“Sho-chan, why?” Aiba asked breaking the silence.

“Why?” Sho asked back.

“Why me?”

“Because I’ve found my prefect present,” Sho said. Aiba lifted his head to look at Sho to try to understand what the older was saying. “The perfect present just for me,” he continued as he claimed Aiba’s lips for the nth time that night.

“Happy birthday, Sho-chan,” Aiba said shyly, closing his eyes to feel the new sensation he discovered together with Sho.

My Own Way

I just read a few drabbles and find this nicely written

Title: My own way [Yama]
Author: kaeda_chan
Rating: PG
Plot:
Sho wonders if Ohno loves him for real.
W/ C:
~300

Ohno didn't love Sho. Sho was sure.

He never said that he loved him. Although, sometimes they kiss when nobody's looking at them, they have sex, they almost live together. But neither of them said these three words.

Until two days ago.

"I love you." Sho mumbled under his breath, wrapping his arms around the older male. The other wasn't sleeping, they just finished their heating session. It was impossible to fall asleep so fast, even if it's Ohno we're talking about.

Ohno didn't reply, he just sighed.

Today, sitting on the couch in their living room, in Sho's living room, to be exact, Sho was ready to make everything clear. He had to do it finally.

"Ohno."

The said man was immersed in drawing. The pencil was moving unstoppable. The Leader of Arashi only 'hm'ed in response. Sho sighed.

"Ohno, you know.." Sho didn't know how to finish. Saying 'You know, if you don't love me, we can stop this..' was not right. He didn't want to stop. He wanted to be with Ohno even if the later didn't love him. But he wanted to be loved. He wanted to be loved by the beloved person. "I.. love you."

Sho sighed. Here he was again, the only one who confessed. He was pitiful. He had unrequited love.

"You know, if you don't love me, you can just say so. There's no need to keep silent"

Ohno stopped moving his pencil. He looked at his piece of work carefully. Giving it a satisfied smile he turned it over to let Sho have a look.

Sho froze.

There, on the picture, was him and Ohno, together. They sat on the floor and Ohno was in Sho's arms. He was drawing while Sho was sleeping peacefully.

In a moment Sho found himself wrapped in Ohno's arms.

"I have my own way of expressing feelings." Ohno said and Sho could've sworn that his heart became a puffing squash.

Toma Ikuta becomes first Johnny’s talent to win Blue Ribbon Award

Toma Ikuta becomes first Johnny’s talent to win Blue Ribbon Award

Johnny’s talent Toma Ikuta (26) has been awarded Best New Artist at the 53rd Blue Ribbon Awards, whose winners were announced yesterday, reports Daily Sports and Sports Hochi.

Movie critics and writers belonging to several Japanese sports newspapers award Blue Ribbon Awards each year to actors, actresses, directors, and the best film of the previous year.

Ikuta had been recognized for his work in “人間失格 (Ningen Shikkaku)” and “ハナミズキ (Hanamizuki)” and is the first Johnny’s talent to have won a Blue Ribbon in the agency’s history.

"This award means a lot because it was given to me after spending a long time trying to find something that no one else had done,” he said.

Having joined Johnny’s around the same time as Arashi’s Jun Matsumoto, Kazunari Ninomiya, Masaki Aiba, and NEWS’ Tomohisa Yamashita, it has been reported Ikuta said it had not been easy to establish himself as an actor while everyone around him was working in the music industry.

"There were times I’d thought about quitting, but my love for acting and wanting to learn more about it was what kept me here.  No one had established themselves as an actor, so around the time I was graduating from high school, I set my heart of going down this path.”

Ikuta had said from then on he went to see stage plays and movies every week, and even traveled to the UK and Germany to study stage acting.

After reporting to “Ningen Shikkaku” movie director Genjiro Arato about his win, it has been reported Mr Arato had told Ikuta, “you got the best prize”.

Now as an actor, the Johnny’s talent said he could laugh about his struggles.

"What’s the difference between me and them (Johnny’s pop groups)?  The fact that I don’t have a song to call my own at karaoke (laughs).”

The award ceremony for the Blue Ribbon Awards will be held in Ginza, Tokyo on February 15.

Other major Blue Ribbon winners include Satoshi Tsumabuki for ”悪人 (Akunin)”, Shinobu Terajima for “キャタピラー (Caterpillar)”, Yoshino Kimura for “告白 (Kokuhaku)”, and “告白 (Kokuhaku)” for Best Film.

The Promise

And I find this fanfic very cute too! A 6 years old Oh-chan with a 16 years old Nino! XD

Tittle: The Promise
Author: tea_party_rabu-san
Pairing: Ohmiya
Rating: G
Disclaimer: Boys aren't mine. Neither is this fic... kinda. I got the idea from another fic and re-wrote it Ohmiya style~
Summary: When little Oh-chan makes a certain promise to his babysitter. Complete Fluff.

Golden sunlight streamed through the window in a soft, morning glow, warming Ohno's legs as they swung back and forth beneath the kitchen table. He watched curiously as Nino pinched the bridge of his nose and grumbled into his cell phone.

"I already told you I can't Aiba, I'm watching Ohno right now."

A strand of hair fell over Ohno's eye as he shoved a glob of cereal into his mouth. He pushed it back and pulled his spoon out, chewing slowly as he continued to watch his babysitter.

"Well for one thing, his parents pay me truckloads. And he's a shitton cuter than you, that helps."

Shitton.  Ohno wondered what it meant. Nino was always using words he didn't understand. One time, his father had yelled at him after he said the word "bitchin", something Nino had told him meant "totally, TOTALLY awesome."

Nino grinned suddenly. "You bet."

Ohno's gaze narrowed, his pink mouth twisting into a tiny pout. He didn't like it when Nino was with him but spent his time paying attention to other people. Especially people on the phone that Ohno didn't know. Especially people who made him smile like that.

"Later." Nino snapped his phone shut and pulled out a chair at the table, plopping himself down next to Ohno. He crossed his arms over the table, tilting his head when he saw Ohno's small pout. "What's wrong?"

Ohno bit his lip and tapped his spoon against the bowl. He looked up, dark eyes wide and large over his pudgy, pink cheeks. "Who was on the phone?"

"Huh?" Nino glanced at his phone that he'd set on the table when he sat down, then back at Ohno. "Just now? That was Aiba."

"Aiba," Ohno murmured. His gaze drew away from Nino, sliding over the table, the floor, his hand curled on his lap in a tiny fist. "Is he little too?"

"What?" Nino chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "No, Aiba's a big kid, like me."

"Oh...."  Ohno swallowed, banging the heel of his foot against his chair leg. "But do you watch other kids too?" He finally looked back up, looking Nino straight in the eye. "Do you have kids at your house?"

Nino's brow slowly arched up. "Umm... no?" He smiled slightly. What's with the questions?  His smiled quickly faded as he saw Ohno's eyes once again roll away from his, the corners of his lips pulling into a frown. "Hey, hey," he grabbed Ohno's hand off his lap, bringing it up and holding it within the warm curl of his fingers over the table. "What's the matter?"

Ohno dropped his spoon, and it clattered beside the bowl as he wiped at the corners of his eyes. "I mean, is there a mommy? And you?"

Nino's brows furrowed in a worried wrinkle. It took him a moment to understand what Ohno was asking him but when he did, he couldn't help but laugh. "Oh! You mean am I married! No way!" He squeezed Ohno's hand, so small and smooth and soft within his own. "No kids, no wife, Oh-chan, I promise. You're only six, what are you doing asking me stuff like that?"

Ohno made a quiet, surprised sound when Nino's free hand came up and ruffled the back of his hair. "Sides, you know you're the only kid for me."

His eyes flicked back to Nino. "How come?"

Nino chuckled and leaned close to him. "Cause you're too cute for your own good," he whispered.

Ohno felt his face get hot as Nino's breath ghosted over his ear, his little heart pattering frantically in his chest. "No Nino! He pressed. "How come you don't have a wife?"

"Oh." Nino sat back a little. "Well, people usually don't get married at sixteen, Oh-chan." He glanced off to his side, mumbling. "Plus I don't really have much luck with girls anyways, they all seem the same."

Ohno blinked up at him, a beat or two passing by before he tugged his hand out of Nino's grasp, only to place it right back on top of the other boy's. "It's okay," Ohno assured. "I'll marry you."

Nino startled slightly, acutely aware of Ohno's small fingers splayed over the back of his larger hand. The flutter of Ohno's pulse beating quick but soft against his skin.

Ohno picked his spoon back up with his other hand, watching as he scooped up another mouthful of cereal, drops of milk raining down as he did so. "But you have to wait, because I gotta grow up first," he stated.

He shoved the spoon in his mouth, and Nino just started at him before a large smile bloomed across his face. "Right," he murmured.

Fluff~

I just read a fanfic. It's fluff. So cute and adorable and sweet~ From a fanfic writter from livejournal, as usual. I rarely read her fanfic tho... But this seems like a very cute fanfic...

Title: In Every Storm There Is a Rainbow
Author: Luna ([info]dreamweavernyx )
Pairing: Aimiya
Genre: Fluff
Summary: Inspiration takes over, and his pencil flies across the paper.
Notes: Inspired by Niji (Ninomiya Kazunari).

~

Nino remembers a time long ago, a time before Arashi.

Back when they were still juniors, and their biggest dream was a debut like all their seniors before, back when it was just him and Matsumoto and Ikuta and Aiba.

He remembers how Aiba used to tell him off for spending all of break glued to his Nintendo.

“It’s no good for you!” Aiba would wail, before snatching the Nintendo away and running out of the dressing room.

More often than not, this would happen when Nino was in the middle of a particularly important level, and he would chase after Aiba, demanding for the return of his Nintendo before it got switched off and all his progress was lost.

This was made harder by the fact that Aiba liked hide-and-seek, and Nino would often find himself crawling all over the jimusho in search of Aiba and his precious Nintendo.

By the tenth time this happened, Nino learned something incredibly important – Aiba didn’t seem to know the basic rule of hide-and-seek: Always choose a different hiding spot each time.

He would always hide in the deserted toilet on the third floor, in the third cubicle closest to the door.

So when Aiba stole his Nintendo for the eleventh time, Nino decided he’d head to the toilet first, to lie in wait for Aiba.

Sure enough, quick footsteps approached the toilet, and Aiba slipped inside, only to blink in surprise when he saw Nino standing there, arms crossed with an amused smile playing on his face.

“How did you find me?” Aiba whined, pouting like a five-year-old denied of cookies.

“You always hide in the same place, silly.”

Aiba huffed, and returned the Nintendo he had been clutching. His face looked incredibly morose and upset, and for a moment Nino felt a pang of sudden regret.

“I’m sorry,” he sighed at last, and Aiba smiled a little.

“You pay too much attention to that Nintendo and not enough attention to us,” Aiba said reproachfully, and Nino chuckled.

“Tell you what, if you stop stealing my Nintendo I’ll play it in the dressing room for an hour a day, no more than that. Deal?”

Aiba beamed.

“Deal!”

~

Nino remembers a time when life was less hectic.

Back when they were still juniors, when they could still walk home together without having to worry too much about rabid fangirls stalking them.

Back then, they would walk to the train station after practice each day, side by side. On rainy days they brought umbrellas, but he remembers that Aiba’s was so ridiculously huge that it kept bumping into his own, causing him to continuously veer off his straight path.

“You fail,” Aiba would giggle each time Nino stumbled as a result of Aiba’s mammoth green umbrella bumping into his own yellow one.

“Not my fault,” Nino would grumble each time in reply, with a pointed glare in the general direction of Aiba’s umbrella.

Aiba would laugh some more, and Nino, drawing from the memories of Aiba pouting each time Nino found him after he had stolen the Nintendo, would purse up his lips and pout like a spoilt child.

“So cute!” Aiba would say, distracted from his laughing to stop walking and pinch Nino’s cheeks, stretching them like he would a rubber band.

“Let go,” Nino would mutter, words distorted by stretched cheeks, and Aiba would laugh more and not let go for a while.

Looking back now, Nino realizes he misses those moments.

Those halcyon days.

~

When it’s announced that they’ll be releasing a new album, Time, Nino decides to write the lyrics for his solo song.

A week later, he stares at the same blank sheet of paper, suddenly regretting this decision. He has no inspiration whatsoever for the song, and it’s due soon.

Suddenly, his doorbell rings, and he opens it to see Aiba standing outside.

“I missed the last train,” Aiba tells him, “so I can’t get home. Can I crash at your flat for tonight?”

“Sure,” Nino shrugs, and opens the door wider to let Aiba in.

In barely half an hour Aiba has fallen asleep on Nino’s couch, and Nino smiles a fond smile as he fetches a blanket to place on Aiba. Somehow, he is reminded of his junior days, when Aiba would fall asleep on the dressing room couch during break, and nothing anybody did would wake him up.

He turns off the television that Aiba was watching before he fell asleep, and goes back to his miserably blank lyrics sheet.

Shooting another glance at Aiba’s sleeping form, sudden inspiration strikes him, and he begins to write, kanji messy from writing too quickly.

The clock strikes one in the morning when he finally puts down the pencil, cracking his neck from side to side as he admires his handiwork – one sheet full of messy, slightly smudged kanji.

This is his song, and Nino hums contentedly as he folds the paper neatly to bring to work.

He’ll ask Aiba to look through it when he wakes up.

~

“Somehow,” Aiba tells him after quickly scanning through the sheet, “the lyrics remind me of our junior days. Remember those times when I used to steal your Nintendo?”

That’s because it was inspired by our junior days, Nino wants to say, but wisely shuts up. If Aiba hasn’t seen the hidden message in the lyrics there’s no need for him to give Aiba any reason to read through the lyrics again.

~

Everybody loves the song, and when he performs it at the Time concert with his piano he’s willing to bet that the fangirls all think the song is directed to each one of them.

Thankfully when writing the lyrics he’d continually switched the personal pronouns so nobody would figure out exactly who the song was for.

It probably also helped that the one he’d written the song for was clueless most of the time.

“Great job,” everybody says backstage after he finishes, and Aiba or Ohno never fail to give him a hearty clap on the back.

Why can’t you see? he wants to say at times, why can’t you see that the message in the lyrics is meant for you?

He never says it.

~

He gets a spanking new DS for his birthday, and is beyond thrilled.

Once again, he begins playing it constantly, whenever they have a break from photoshoots or dance practice or the like.

“Nino~” Aiba whines one day, plopping down next to him on the couch after four straight hours of grueling dance practice, “you’re stuck to your Nintendo again!”

“It’s not just a Nintendo, it’s a DS,” he corrects absentmindedly, attention on the little character on the screen.

Suddenly, the DS in his hands is snatched away by a sulky Aiba, and before he can say anything Aiba has run out of the dressing room, leaving Nino with only the stylus still clutched in his hand.

“Hey!” he yelps, a few seconds too late.

Ohno and Sakurai blink in a mixture of surprise and shock, while Matsumoto laughs himself silly.

“Aiba-kun used to do that all the time, didn’t he?”

Nino sighs.

“I guess I’ll have to go chase him now, don’t I?”

He gets up from the couch and heads out the door.

~

This building is not like the jimusho, but Nino discovers that there is only one toilet on the third floor anyway. Slowly, Nino pushes the door open, and moves toward the third cubicle from the door, like always.

“Aiba?” he calls, knocking on the cubicle door while feeling rather stupid, “You in there?”

There is a short silence, and suddenly the cubicle door swings open. Aiba peeks out, looking decidedly miffed.

“You need to change your hiding place,” Nino says dryly with an air of longsuffering patience.

“I knew you’d come here,” Aiba says instead, “so I waited. I want to ask you something.”

Nino raises an eyebrow, silently prompting Aiba to continue.

“Every time we walked home in the rain, did you really have those secret fantasies?”

This is clearly not something Nino has been expecting, and for a few moments he just stands stock-still, doing a perfect imitation of a goldfish.

“W-what?”

“Of kissing me,” Aiba elaborates, flapping an arm.

Nino still cannot wrap his mind around Aiba’s sudden question.

“What in the world gave you that idea?”

“Your song,” Aiba says, as if it is the most obvious thing in the world.

And suddenly Nino gets what Aiba’s talking about, but it’s too embarrassing to argue his case.

“You know,” he hears Aiba say in the midst of his mental debate, “next time you want to kiss someone, you could be a little more direct.”

Startled, he gapes at Aiba, who laughs.

“You look almost as cute as when you pout,” Aiba says, grinning, before bending down to plant a quick kiss on Nino’s nose.

Nino’s face flames red, and he doesn’t even notice when Aiba pushes his DS back into his hand and leaves the bathroom.

~

Be a little more direct.

Aiba’s words ring in his head as he looks at yet another blank sheet of paper. Without properly registering what he’s writing, his pencil flies across the page. An hour later, he reads through what he has written, and realizes that it’s a little too obvious and embarrassing to use on the album.

He ends up writing another solo for Dream-A-live instead, the original sheet of lyrics stashed away somewhere else, for another day.

~

He ends up taking out that solo again two years later, when he is out of inspiration to write a new solo for their Fuukei album.

Going through it, he gives it a few edits here and there, and bestows it with a misleading title.

He asked for direct, Nino thinks, Well, here’s hoping this is direct enough.

Scribbled on the top of the lyrics sheet is a simple title.

1992*4##111.

~

Evidently Aiba does not think the same way.

“It’s so roundabout,” he complains after reading the lyrics, and Nino shrugs.

“I think it’s just fine,” he insists staunchly.

“And what’s with cutting off at the end? What exactly are you supposed to say there?”

Nino grins a mysterious grin.

“Why, you’ll have to wait until the recording to find out.”

~

Just like planned in his lyrics, Nino cuts off at the last line during the recording of his solo, but the backup singers continue on.

I love you…

Nino catches sight of Aiba listening from the other room, and winks as Aiba turns to him in surprise, a tiny smile blossoming on his lips. He watches as Aiba discreetly forms a heart with his fingers, and he returns the gesture.

Yes, Nino knows he misses those moments back in the days when they were juniors without a care in the world. But now, these moments that he’s living through…

He knows that he won’t trade them for anything.

Phrases

I've been thinking about this phrase everytime I see a certain person's livejournal's title "If I say I love you... Can I have you?"

Yea, it's cool. But for example: If I say I love Arashi, Can I have Arashi? Makes things clearer now right? XD

Neh~ It's either you can or you cannot.

~~**♥**~~

Another phrase caught my attention, "I hate you because I love you."

If I put it in reverse "I love you because I hate you."

It's a total different meaning. Which means people who says I love you means they actually hate you. And people who says I hate you means they love you.

Doesn't really make sense to me...

~~**♥**~~

Oh! And i always find this sentence very interesting from my favourite fanfic writter, chocoxchips: It's so beautiful, it's heartbreaking...

But i don't really understand what does she mean by that. I mean it's beautiful in what aspect that it'll break a heart? But I kinda like the phrase tho ^o^ Sometimes, I find things really pretty that it made me curious and think of things which are...erm...I don't know how to describe but it's sometimes felt hurt. Not things like objects but in situations, stories, fanfics, pictures etc.

~~**♥**~~

So what do you think about these phrases? =) I find them intereting but different people has got different opinions in these phrases ne~? xD

Kaibutsu-kun in 3D

It has been confirmed that the "Kaibutsu-kun" drama series, starring Arashi's Satoshi Ohno (30), has a movie version in the works. The film will be shot in 3D and is said to be a huge project, with some sources reporting that NTV is investing approximately 2 billion yen for the film's production budget. Yoshihiro Nakamura ("Golden Slumber," "Team Batista no Eikou") has been tapped to direct.

Although the drama only averaged 13.9% during its original broadcast run last year, it reportedly had ratings of 24.2% among young children and families. The show already got a special episode last year, and the characters from the show also made an appearance at NHK's Kouhaku Uta Gassen.

This will be Ohno's first solo starring role in a movie. Besides him, the show's main cast will reprise their roles, including Norito Yashima, Ryuhei Ueshima, Choi Hong Man, Takeshi Kaga, Masahiro Matsuoka (TOKIO), Izumi Inamori, Umika Kawashima, and Tatsuomi Hamada. Of course, new characters will be added as well, including an original villain.

Filming will begin this month, and some scenes will be shot in southeast Asia as the story involves Kaibutsu-kun and his friends going on an adventure to a fictional country.

Production is aiming to finish around October. Although an exact release date has not yet been set, various sources are reporting that the film will either be released around Christmas or the New Year holiday season.

English:
Everyday is smeared with mud, but it's too late to be worrying about that now
It's so surprising that it's awkward, but I have a dream my heart is sworn to

The unreachable stars are twinkling Wishing to touch them, I softly asked them a question
If hope is restored to my heart, I'll just chase after them

"An endless sky is there" Just now a confident voice could be heard
Shall we change that we can't fly and go? Let's start over by taking a step forward, however many times Energetically

More than the piled-up excuses Let's try believing in the truth
More than a happiness full of lies Let's smile honestly

If one more star falls, I'll reach out my hand so that I might catch it
Because a pure white future can continue anywhere, I just want to make sure

"There is nothing that you can't see" That confident song can be heard
These feelings that won't disappear are right here No matter when, let's try to stand up one more time Energetically

If my tear tracks dry, then I'll call out for you again
Answer me And we'll go to a future we haven't seen before
I've realized I'm not alone Let's aim for that shining door together

"An endless sky is there" Just now a confident voice could be heard
Shall we change that we can't fly and go? Let's start over by taking a step forward, however many times

"There is nothing that you can't see" That confident song can be heard
These feelings that won't disappear are right here No matter when, let's try to stand up one more time

As Far As you'll Take Me

I just read this fanfic from cry1baby from livejournal. I find it interested ^^ I kinda like most of her fanfic actually =D

Title: As Far As You’ll Take Me
Author: Cry1baby
Rating: PG-13 - R
Pairing: Yamapair
Summary: After missing his flight home for the holidays, Sho tries to make it via a road trip and meets a certain drifter along the way.
Disclaimer: None of this is true, just a work of fiction. Do not know any of the mentioned characters.
A/N: Didn't win in the arashicrackaday contest, but thanks to those who read, voted, and commented.

It was pretty normal for him to be running through the airport, bags flying in hand, as he desperately tries to catch his plane. Much like what happens every year, he works nearly to the last minute before breaking every traffic law, well more like getting the taxi driver to break the laws, just to get home on time. However this time is not like the rest, this time he doesn’t make it onto the plane.

As he dashed down the long hall, he saw his plane back out of the runway causing his heart to slowly sink in his chest. “Fuck,” he whispered softly, dropping the gift bags in his hand. He stood there for 10 minutes to catch his breath and to think of his new plan. ‘Road trip it is,’ Sho thought before calmly walking out the airport and catching a taxi back home.
---------------------------------------

Sho dropped his stuff on his couch and walked to the kitchen to grab a few food items he’ll be needing for his trip. After collecting the food, which consisted of the many snack foods he’s barely even gotten the chance to eat, he grabbed his car keys.

When he got in the car, he pulled his cell phone out and called his parents. The line rang a few times before his younger brother answered. “Sho-chan?”

“Hey, is mom and dad home?”

“Yeah…you didn’t catch the plane did you?” Shu sighed.

“It’s okay, I’m going to drive there. It should be about three days, four at most,” Sho reassured. His brother sighed and mumbled what sounded like an ‘okay.’ “Well tell them I called, cause I’ll be driving soon. See you in a few days, okay?”

“Mm, bye bye.”

Sho exhaled and started up the car and took his first lonely road trip.

Three hours had passed and the man was already bored and tired. He kept fiddling with the radio changing it from station to station, singing his heart out to the songs he recognized. Sho was driving along before he noticed a man walking on the highway. The man was walking normally, as if he was simply going to the store, despite the cold weather. He had a huge backpack and immediately Sho knew he was a hitchhiker.

Okay so he’s heard the horror stories of picking up a hitchhiker, but he felt bad. He’s never encountered one and to know they might never get a ride until miles and miles later just made his lips downturn. He drove over and rolled the window down.

“Do you need a ride?” The man stopped and looked over at him with wide eyes. He pointed at himself and Sho nodded with a small chuckle.

“I don’t mind walking, so you don’t have to.”

“I don’t want you walking for too long. It’ll fuck with my conscience,” Sho smiled. The hitchhiker smiled back and nodded. He walked around to the passenger side and got in. “Sakurai,” Sho said holding his hand out. He might be nice enough to pick a hitchhiker up, but he’s not dumb enough to give him his full name.

“Ohno,” the man mumbled, taking the outstretched hand. Sho smiled and started driving again.

Neither were talking for a while seeming how they don’t really know each other. Sho took a quick glance at the man, who was looking in his bag for something. “Um, so…where are you headed?”

“Nowhere. I just wanted to take a trip,” Ohno said before pulling out a notebook. “Found it!” he exclaimed to himself.

“So you just up and left your house and decided to go somewhere?”

“Not just somewhere, but somewhere I haven’t been before.”

“Well, then why not take a car or something? I’m sure it’d been faster and warmer.”

“It would, but I don’t have my license,” Ohno smiled at Sho.

“Wait how old are you?”

“29.”

Sho laughed and scratched the bridge of his nose. “29 and you don’t drive. Do you know how to?”

“Nope, but I have a bike. Well I had a bike, but my friend totaled it…with his car.”

“Ah, I guess your feet are all you have in this situation,” Sho nodded. Ohno made a small noise in agreement, focusing his attention to his notebook.

“So where are you heading?”

“Parents’ home. Gonna see the family for the holidays,” Sho smiled brightly. “Speaking of which, shouldn’t you be with yours or something?”

“We don’t do that much. Also, I still live with them so it’d be like every other day. But I left them their gifts so I’m not a total douche.”

“29, doesn’t drive, has no bike, and lives with parents…okay,” Sho said with laughter gracing his voice.

Ohno looked over at him with a smirk before continuing with his writing. Their small series of questions continued like that for a while before Sho noticed it was now 1 A.M. and as much as he wanted to keep on driving, his eyes were failing him. Also, Ohno looked just as sleepy as he did. He noticed a sign stating the nearest motel and drove along that route.

Sho parked in the lot and opened the trunk to get his clothes. Ohno stood by the door and waited patiently before they went in. “One room or two?” the woman at the front desk asked the minute they entered.

“Um, one…but are there any with two beds?” Sho asked and to his luck they did. He checked them in and took the room key before sleepily going to their room. “Ugh I’m so tired,” Sho whined when they stepped in and collapsed on the bed. When he didn’t get a response from the other man, he looked up and noticed he was already knocked out. “Wow,” Sho chuckled before falling asleep as well.
---------------------------------

It was 9 A.M. when Sho was rudely awakened by an earthquake. Or so he thought it was, but in reality it was Ohno jumping on his bed. He reached out and punched the man on his leg causing him to yelp in pain and stop.

“A simple ‘get up’ would suffice,” Sho groaned, rolling onto his back.

“But that was uncalled for,” Ohno pouted and sat on his bed. Sho noticed the man was completely dressed and ready.

“What time did you get up?”

“7:30.” Sho groaned and rolled over again so his back was facing the older man. “Come on, get up, or you’ll never see your family again.”

“What?” Sho got out of bed and looked at the other man. Ohno only gave him an innocent smile in return, as if he didn’t just slightly threaten him. Sighing, he took his change of clothes and went to the bathroom.

Minutes later they were on the road again, but made a pit stop to a small diner. Ohno ordered a simple stack of pancakes and some coffee, while Sho asked for waffles, pancakes, sausage and eggs; not to forget the side of toast and coffee.

“Man you make my throat close up when I look at you eat,” Ohno laughed as Sho heartily ate his breakfast.

“We need to make up for the lost hours yesterday,” Sho said through a mouthful, while looking at the map he purchased at the gas station earlier. The other man nodded and took a sip of his coffee. “Um, speaking of which, how far are you planning on going?”

Ohno looked deep in thought before looking down at the map on the table. “Here,” he smiled and pointed at a random location, which so happened to be a few miles away from Sho’s destination. “Or at least as far as you can take me.”

Sho looked up at him and nodded. “Okay.” He felt very uncomfortable dropping someone off in an area they weren’t used to. After 20 more minutes they finished their food and were back on the road. During that time, Sho found out the man was an excellent drawer and singer apparently. Ohno was fiddling around with radio, before he heard a song he recognized and sang softly with it. Sho felt at ease listening to his voice and smiled to himself.

“Am I bothering you?”

“Hm?”

“Well, I’m not much help right now. I’m kind of dead weight here,” the man laughed. “I can’t take over the driving and you’ve been paying for most of our expenses. To top things off I think I’m getting a little too comfortable,” Ohno said, referring to the radio.

“I don’t mind. Well actually, it would’ve been nice if you could either pay for your own or if you knew how to drive, but it’s okay. I kinda signed up for this when I picked you up.”

“You can always kick me out,” Ohno said seriously. Sho looked over at him briefly before keeping his eyes on the road.

“I won’t.” Those words caused a bright smile to come across Ohno’s face. For the next two hours they sat in a comfortable silence as the radio played softly.
----------------------------------

Sho made another pit stop--Ohno needed to pee and refused to go in the empty water bottle like he had suggested--and chose this time to call home. He was currently leaning against the car, arguing with his mother. “Mom, I know I should’ve tried to catch an earlier flight, but I really couldn’t,” he sighed exasperatedly. “No, you don’t need to worry about me,” he mumbled.

“Are you by yourself?”

“Uh…not…really,” he said looking at Ohno coming out the bathroom while wiping his hands with his handkerchief.

“Is it a girl?” his mother asked happily. Sho sighed and rubbed his eyes and turned around so he was resting his forehead on the hood of the car.

“Mom, I told you that me being gay isn’t just a phase.”

“But you never brought home a boyfriend so for the time being it’s just a phase,” she said in defiance or was it in denial. When Sho turned back around Ohno was staring at him. ‘Shit, how much did he hear?’ he thought.

“Mom, I gotta go. I have only 2000 miles left; I’ll make it okay,” Sho said quickly before hanging up and smiling. “Ready?”

“Yup.”

“So why did you pick yesterday to start this random trip?” Sho asked as he drove, slightly tapping his fingers on the wheel.

“I’ve been reading a lot of adventure books and it made me want to go on one.”

“What are you four?” Sho joked causing the older man to glare at him. “But I guess that’s good, to venture out, expand your horizons so to speak.”

“Mm, blah blah. So what did you do with your plane ticket?” Ohno asked, changing the subject.

“Um, I gave it to the airline people and they said they’d reimburse me 25%, which was the best they could do.”

“Bummer…”

“Yeah, but that’s life.”

“Mm,” Ohno hummed softly. “Why did you hang up so fast on your mom?”

“Why are you asking?”

“I don’t care if you’re…you know. Lots of people are.”

“Well not many people are comfortable with it. Not even my own mom,” Sho sighed.

“I am,” the man smiled. Sho nodded with a sigh and an eye roll. This was not the conversation he wanted to be having with a total stranger. He could feel Ohno’s eyes on him causing a slight tingling sensation to run through him. He stole a quick glance and the older man smiled at him. ‘Such a cute smile,’ he thought before looking straight ahead.

Much like what happened yesterday they--he--drove for hours, with a few breaks and conversations in between, until it was approaching 1 A.M. Again they stopped at a nearby motel and checked in, but this time there was only one room with one bed available. Sho gave Ohno an apologetic look, but the man simply shrugged and went over to their room. When they opened the door and turned on the lights, Sho covered his face in horror.

“The honeymoon suite,” Ohno said with wide and curious eyes as opposed to the sleepy ones he had just moments before. He laughed at Sho who was repeatedly apologizing to him. “It’s okay. A bed is a bed,” he chuckled patting his shoulder.

Granted Ohno was being aloof about the whole situation, both men were quite nervous once they approached the red silk sheet covered bed. The heart pillows were quickly tossed off by Sho before he sat down and removed his button down shirt, revealing the white T-shirt he had underneath it. Ohno followed suit and removed his jeans so he was left in his boxer briefs and shirt before getting under the sheets. When Sho was dressed the same, he laid on top of the covers and turned off the lights.

“Get under, it’s too cold,” Ohno pouted.

“It’s okay, I don’t mind.” Sho was laying stiffly on his back as he tried not to tremble from the cold wind he felt ghosting over him. Ohno got out from underneath the sheets and laid above them like him. “What are you doing?”

“It’s not fair if I’m comfortable and you’re not. You’ve been doing most of the work you know.” Sho looked over at the man and despite the small sliver of moonlight coming through the curtains, he was able to make out the round eyes and cheeks.

“If you’re going to go to this extent, we might as well get underneath the sheets,” Sho said softly, still roaming his eyes on the shorter man’s features. He caught the glint of teeth as the man smiled and quickly both huddled up under the warm sheets. They were facing each other, but neither chose to turn away. Ohno shuffled closer so his head was practically sharing the same pillow.

“Thank you for all this, you know. I probably wouldn’t have made it far on my own really,” Ohno said softly. “I probably would’ve turned around and gone back home had you not picked me up,” he said with a small laugh. Sho simply nodded, unable to speak with the man’s closeness.

“Well I should thank you for not making my road trip suck,” Sho managed to say. Ohno smiled and moved closer, his knees bumping into Sho’s. “Oh-Ohno…I’m gay,” he said as if that would make the man run away like he was the plague.

“Mm, and I said earlier that I didn’t care. I don’t bother with labels, it prevents you from feeling.”

Sho’s breath hitched when he felt Ohno’s hand touch his hip, his fingertips rubbing the exposed skin. He started to remember his mother’s words about how he never brought home a boyfriend. It was because he knew they still didn’t accept him for who he was; but the man before him, a man he met two days ago, already accepts him with open arms. Sho raised a hand and placed it on Ohno’s cheek stroking it softly.

Slowly they leaned in and kissed. Their tongues meeting almost immediately. Ohno’s hand moved up from the thin hip to behind Sho’s neck, pushing them closer together. The taller man let out a small whine when teeth tugged on his lower lip. They pulled away and stared into each other’s eyes, sharing the same air.

“What’s your first name?” Sho asked.

“Why?”

“I want to call it out when I come.” Luckily it was dark in the room or else the blush on Ohno’s cheeks would’ve been apparent.

“Satoshi.”

Sho leaned in for another kiss and got on top of him. They kept at it, until they were a tangled mess of flesh and limbs. Because neither had anything on them, they both settled on heavy petting and kisses. Ohno moaned into Sho’s neck as his orgasm washed over him, his seed releasing on Sho’s hand and thigh. He paid the man back by stroking him while sucking on one of his hard nipples.

The taller man groaned, his back arching as those skillful hands knew exactly how to touch him. “Ngh,” Sho grunted, thrusting his hips up and moaning softly. “Satoshi,” he whimpered as his cum squirted on the other man’s stomach. They shared a sloppy and sluggish kiss before falling asleep.

When the two had woken up that morning, they were in regret…that they didn’t clean themselves up after last night’s activity. It was Christmas Eve and Sho only had 1000 miles left to his destination and technically 900 for Ohno’s. He was dreading this day. They got some breakfast again, but Sho’s ravenous appetite was decreased to a simple cup of coffee and a plate waffles.

Sho called his parents and told them he’d be home on time for Christmas, while Ohno simply sat in his chair with his knees drawn up to his chest. He looked like he was in deep thought, before he glanced over at the taller man. Their eyes met and shy smiles spread across their faces. They were back on the road thirty minutes later, both counting down the hours.

“So what exactly are you going to do when I drop you off?” Sho asked, avoiding the real thing he wanted to talk about.

“Venture around town. I’ve never been there,” Ohno shrugged with a smile. The younger man wondered how he was always smiling even when things don’t always go his way.

“How long will you be there?”

“Until I get bored of it?” Ohno chuckled. He really didn’t have a set plan. He actually wanted to go with Sho, but the man seemed fixed on dropping him off. “Sakurai?”

“Mm?”

“You don’t regret last night do you?”

“No…you?” Sho asked, catching in the corner of his eye, Ohno shaking his head ‘no’. A smile graced his lips and drove a bit faster.

By 10 P.M. Sho had arrived to their first destination. Ohno had his bag in his lap, clutching it to his chest. “I guess this is me,” he said softly. Sho nodded and drove into the town, looking for a motel.

“I’ll check you in.”

“No, I can do it,” Ohno said quickly, he couldn’t have the man pay for his room anymore. “Thank you, for everything.”

“You’re welcome,” Sho said softly. Ohno gave him a small farewell kiss, before getting out the car and going inside the motel.
--------------------------------------

The rest of his trip was lonely, long, and depressing. He only had three hours until he was home, but within those hours he was thinking about the older man. He missed the soft humming he’d absentmindedly do, the small pictures he’d draw--and litter his car with--but more importantly, he missed that smile that never seemed to leave his face. Before Sho knew it, he was home and no longer excited to be there like he had been when he first started his trip.

“Sho!” his sister called out and hugged him. He wrapped an arm around her while he removed his shoes. “Mom! Dad!” she yelled walking away. Sho greeted his parents and younger brother, not missing the wandering eyes of his mother.

“So where is this person you were with?” she asked. Everyone turned to him and he groaned.

“I wasn’t really with him, I just gave him a ride.”

“A hitchhiker?!” his father exclaimed. Sho nodded and received and slap to the back of the head. “What did we say about that?!”

“But I’m fine. So no need to yell.”

“He’s right. It’s Christmas now,” his mother said shooing her husband away. Sho rubbed his head and went to his old room where he collapsed on the bed. ‘I wonder what he’s up to,’ he thought. He fell asleep a few minutes later before getting forcefully woken up by his sister at 10 A.M.

They were cleaning the house and preparing the family dinner since a few other relatives were going to be joining as well. Sho’s mind was on Ohno the whole time as he cleaned, causing him to get scolded by everyone when he was standing in front of the sink rubbing the towel over one bowl repeatedly. The doorbell rang and Sho promptly answered it, only to be greeted by his aunt, uncle, and cousins. They took turns hugging him or shaking his hand. He wasn’t going to lie, he half expected to see Ohno standing on the other side of the door, but of course that wasn’t going to happen any time soon.

Throughout the course of the day, Sho wasn’t giving it his all in anything that he did. He was losing at the family games--not that he was ever good anyways, he was slightly photo bombing pictures, and he gave a semi enthused speech before dinner. He looked down at his food, but he didn’t feel like eating. Instead he got up and rushed out the house and into his car. He didn’t care if it’d take three hours, it would be worth it in his mind.

Sho drove as fast as he legally could to the motel he remembered dropping Ohno off at. When he finally made it into town, his heart was beating faster and it only got worse the closer he got to the motel. He parked the car and got out before rushing to the man at the front desk.

“Merr-” the man got ready to say, but Sho cut him off.

“Did someone by the name of Ohno Satoshi check out yet?”

“Why?”

“I need to see him. Please,” Sho said desperately. The attendant, still slightly bothered that he was cut off, checked the guest book.

“No, he’s still here,” he said looking up at Sho. “I suppose you want to know the room number right?”

“Yes…please.”

“25.”

“Thank you. Thank you so much,” Sho said before rushing off to the room. He ran up to the door and knocked on it. He heard the latch unhooking and the locked unlocking before the door opened. Ohno stood there, wide eyed in just his shirt and boxers.

“What are you-” His words were cut off, by the passionate kiss Sho gave him. Ohno slowly wrapped his arms around Sho’s neck, deepening their kiss.

“Merry Christmas,” the taller man said against the pouting lips. Ohno laughed and pulled him into the room.

After they repeated--twice--what they had done two nights ago, Sho called home.

“Where did you go? You just ran out the house like that, and you never touched your food,” his mom questioned.

“I forgot something important,” Sho said looking at Ohno, who was laying on his side facing him.

“What was it? A better gift than what you left me?”

“You’ll see when I get back,” he laughed. The older man kissed his neck softly before snuggling into him.

“Okay, just hurry up. I don’t like you being on the road any longer than you’ve already been,” she complained.

“Mm, I gotta go now. I’ll see you later.” Sho hung up and turned to Ohno properly. “How would you like to spend the rest of the holiday with me?”

“But Christmas is almost over,” Ohno pouted. Sho laughed and kissed the man’s forehead.

“Then spend the rest of my vacation with me until I have to get back.”

“As far as you’ll take me?”

“Mm,” Sho hummed and kissed him tenderly. He didn’t want anything else except to stay in this moment.
