Goal for the year 2017 - Taiwan

Was on a major trip this year with my man. Finally, after 3 years + (or 4 years? I can't remember), I'm finally riding a flight with him - to Taiwan.

This is the most 'exciting' trip I've been to, cause we were so busy that we hadn't book hotel rooms the day before we flew! And we didn't even had a plan to travel the country! We only booked flights and that's it! Luckily, my bro is an expert that he helped us the day before, otherwise we'll be dead.

Cause we were in a rush til the very last minute, the plan wasn't that perfect. During the trip, we cancelled certain places, wasted hotel room bookings, change of lots of plans, wasted too much time on travelling. But, going through the bads with your love one is definitely excitingly fun.

Our random itinery:

Day 1: Fly Penang --> KL --> Taoyuan Airport --> Taichung
Day 2: Taichung --> Flower & Lavender Garden --> Gao Mei Wetlands --> Fengjia Night Market
Day 3: Taichung --> Chingjing Sheep Farm --> Night Flower Garden
Day 4: Chingjing --> Sun Moon Lake --> Monster Village --> Sun Moon Lake
Day 5: Sun Moon Lake --> Ximending, Taipei --> Wufenpu --> Shida Night Market
Day 6: Ruifang --> Houtong Cat Village --> Shifen --> Jiufen
Day 7: Ferris Wheel --> Taipei 101 --> TamSui --> Shilin Night Market
Day 8: Ximending --> Taipei Public Transport StationUnderground mall --> KL
Day 9: KL --> Penang

Taipei Street

Taiwan famous milk tea, Taichung Bus Station
Taichung Street
Taipei 101
Shifen Train Station, Ruifang

Night Flower Garden, Chingjing, Nantao
Ximending, Taipei

Jiufen Old Street, Ruifang

Houtong Cat Village, Taipei

 Sun Moon Lake

 Monster Village, Xitou
Chingjing Sheep Farm, Nantao

Houtong Cat Village
FerrisWheel

There were so many places I'm really happy that I went like the Gao Mei Wetlands, definitely my most favourite place. Also the Monster Village, Xitou, worth sacrificing other places and hotel bookings for. We sacrificed going to Hua Lien and Cultural Village, Nantou just to get to the Monster Village.

My missions in Taiwan had achieved satisfyingly;
1. Ride a bike around  -  checked
2. Eat Taiwan Sausages  -  checked
3. Drink milk tea and papaya milk  -  checked
4. Eat Mee Sua Oyster  -  checked
5. Eat Fried oyster  - nope
6. Buy sport shoes and birkenstocks  -  nope
7. See sunset or sunrise  -  nope (the weather is bad almost everyday)
8. Get stamps around  - checked
9. Get to cat village  -  checked
10. Ride on a long distance train  -  checked

And most importantly, shop til you drop! The cloths there are sooooo cheap! I should have bought more. But we almost overload our luggage. Okay, we did, so we did some tricks on our hand-carry so we weren't overloaded.

This is like only 60% of our stuff bought.

This is so far the best holiday I've been to. I definitely wanna go there again with my man. Most importantly, he seems really happy and it seems like he wants to come again.
